Once played on a PERP server, Perpheads or something related to the top on the server browser. I ran across the street, checked my left and right, and then ran across the street. An admin started voice spamming towards me, physgunned me back to the other side of the road and confronted me for about 10 minutes about why I shouldn't run across the street. Awful experience.
i was on trinity gaming buildrp and got banned for 3 years for "hacking". the only evidence they had of me hacking was when i messed with a bunch of kids on a server with E2 and wiremod from 4 months ago

If someone breaks a rule, gets warned, and then breaks that rule again, why should they be welcome on the server?

If it's TTT most of the time "RDM" isn't really RDM. I think people should be allowed to kill on suspicion, with the karma system there to punish them for making the wrong choice. If it's an innocent gunning down several other innocents then yeah, should get banned.
If it's Darkrp why not let the in-game police deal with it, if it's a cop shooting other cops, job-ban them. Let the police set a 5 minute or so jail time based on the crime. So a hobo throwing shit at a cop would get just a minute, whereas a hit-man shooting somebody in the street could get 5 minutes.

Hell, why not change those minutes to days, makes em' learn from crimes rather then sitting for 5 minutes and then continueing the spree of killings like nothing happened :v:

Reminds me of a friend who always yelled at me when I jailed people for 15 minutes or banned them for a day while his max. jail time in any case was just 2 minutes lol. He eventually left to host his own server, which nowadays is flooded and filled with kids, while mine stays perfectly clean from brats (of course mine doesn't have 45 people a day, its average is around 10 'cause i have 14 slots...)

(Talking about TTT here) then you get the assholes who kill people for aiming at them, shooting a wall, being near a dead body, or denying to be T tested. I think it should be based off of what actual proof you have on the player.

I don't think I would really count those as suspicion, in that case, people should be punished. Though what would be better is some kind of middle ground between kill everything that moves and never kill any traitor until they are actively shooting you.

One thing I've noticed that, like, 99% of gmod players seem to forget is that you don't have peripheral vision in this-game. It is very easy to miss things, especially if they are to the side.
Like, no one really seems to take a moment to think, 'well the body is here, and they came from this direction, would it have been in view'. It's just 'I CAN SEE A DEAD BODY, THEY'RE NEAR BY, I CAN'T GO FIVE MINUTES WITHOUT SHOOTING SOMETHING, LET'S FUCKING KILL THEM'
Bonus points if the detective is still alive and it'd take like 30 seconds to double check

And as for traitors, you could inform your buddies when you're jihading or something, it's kind of important when you're in the same room as them and don't have time to escape once they pull out the jihad.
You could also try warning about C4, just in case some admin decides that it was not their fault they died because they didn't see the C4.
And gotta love people calling me a dumbass when I kill in self-defence. I mean, what, if a fucking detective tries to RDM me, I can't shoot back because I'm innocent?
