really? you've never seen people run across a street in real life? overpasses are only for when the traffic is too heavy to make a normal street crossing plausible which i doubt is the case on PERP. Your server sounds like its full of spergmasters and will make a ripe target for minging :yarr:

I think Mka0207 is still the owner. He's a total sellout. He sold the entire community for $100-$200 then bought it back for like $5.

When a edgy 13 yearold think he's l33t trolling the admins and when he gets banned he goes to the forums and posts some ban appeal like "wow I was unfairly banned my rights have been severely violated the admins were very rude and muh entitlement!!!". I have seen people running across normal streets. What I haven't seen IRL though is people running across a highway. Maybe that's a thing in murica, but I highly doubt that.

Unfortunatley your argumentation is flawed. Random murder occurs IRL as well and yet there is a rule against RDM on most servers.
There's a rule against it because everyone on the server would do it all the time while IRL there is only a tiny fraction of the population who would put their life at risk like that.

However you can justify it as much and as you like, the fact is, people jaywalk all the time in real life, and having a rule against walking across a road just seems extremely silly to me. If someone wants to risk their life walking, let them. In terms of RDM, that can be justified as where players killing each other for no reason obviously ruins gameplay, whereas jaywalking just simply kills someone who's stupid.

That would be why my server requires 100% proof of abuse for ban appeals to work. In my entire time running a server(over a year now) I've only unbanned 4 people who appealed.

Thanks for just ignoring the first half of my post. Only jaywalking across the highway is against the rules because it's highly unrealistic when 75% of players do it.
There's obviously no rule against jaywalking across normal streets.

I'm not even joking but they gave someone with some sort of guy with a mental disorder (Not even exaggerating on this one. You could tell in his voice and he acted like it) the ability to kick. Needless to say I was kicked a lot for anything he didn't like even though I wasn't breaking any rules. I had to bitch to the owner and the owner was like "yeah w/e I'm not punishing anyone lol"
Then another person who had the ability to kick literally kicked me and my friend just because we talked too much. This person actually went and looked up my Facebook account and threatened to doxx because I killed the kid's friend too many times on a killing server. A few admins didnt care but some others helped me out with it but they couldny do shit because the owner was like "w/e it has nothing to do with my server"

But if a server owner is REALLY intent on having such a stupid rule then the players shouldn't be ABLE to break it. The owner should get off his ass and enforce that with code. Otherwise it's inevitable that non-malicious players will break this rule out of ignorance.

Nah, I totally understand why people hate Pointshops on TTT, a game which replies on everyone looking the same to create fairness
The only problem is, a LOT of users really really like them. Like, before we implemented one, lots of people would say !shop in chat and even had people leave cuz we didn't have one!
In the end, we put one in, but gave players the option to disable them clientside and not show up if the player was behind a window or x distance away

Disabling them clientside would give them a disadvantage though so nobody would do it.

The thing is, you can do soo much with an Pointshop, if you take the time and think about it. For my Server i'm still in preperations for the update, which will include an Pointshop.
When you think outside the classic Playermodel/Trail/Follower/Hats/Role Pass Box, there are nearly endless, good, Options for an TTT Pointshop.

My TTT runs purely off of donations, and since I don't sell staff positions, a pointshop is the only option. Donators get things like playermodels, hats and permanent weapons. It works out well.
