We're talking about a game/gamemode, not real life. It's about making the gameplay as good as possible.
It's how most mmorpgs and rpgs work. Without being able to use potions you would die easily, unless you got some kind of healing spell to use.

Well this isn't most mmorpgs.
Healing after a battle is fine, but if I were playing, I would get frustrated if the enemy kept magically obtaining 60 HP during a battle.

From what I've seen and heard, it is an MMORPG. It's even said so in the OP aswell as the walkthrough gameplay video.
No, that doesn't mean it has to be like the other mmo's. But as I said, it's a matter of good gameplay.

World of Warcraft for an example has a cooldown on using potions. You can only use on potion in each combat. The npc enemys are rarely using potions, but instead healing spells with cast times.
Diablo2 on the other hand does not have a cooldown, but there's barely any PvP and the npcs you're fighting aren't using potions.
Instead of making the potions give a specific health value, you could make them restore like 20% health instead.
You still don't instantly regain 60hp by instantly drinking a potion at the same time as trying to kill someone with a big sword... but since not many people want realistic MMOs, w/e.

Think of it this way: You've just finished killing an enemy npc, and survived with 20% health. Another npc/(player?) shows up and starts attacking you. It would be useful to heal up a little bit instead of dying.
This isn't real life stop getting so annoyingly technical. I'm pretty sure being able to hold ten watermelons isn't realistic either but it works so stop complaining.

Exactly. Being able to only carry one watermelon wich must be dropped during combat would be frustrating. It's surely a matter of gameplay.
To make it clearly, Yes i am adding a small combat state on a player so all non-combat abilities and items cannot be used. This is just disabled currently for testing.
PS: People says i should make a short login screen and a creation page so you can decide what professions and skills and model you want to use. I'm just wondering if i should do it. What do you think about it people :D?

you mean so you can have multiple characters or so your character can only be able or best suited to say 5 professions rather than being able to use them all?

Yes, go for it! Being able to customize and choose skills upon creating a character is a must for this gamemode. :)

The Living Rock npc/creature looks amazing. I hope you create more custom creatures like that. Living Water would be nice if you could create some cool particle effects for it.

Unless they have a purpose, get rid of the fade-out gradient bars on the edges of the screen. They do not look good at all.

To your ideas people have suggested a sea war with player made ships on oceans. also player owned wagons for transport. Ships used for sea wars can also be used as a fishing boat so it is a definetly.
you would have to find someway for people in boats not to be able to attack things on the land. As i doubt the monsters on land can go into the water and attack your boat?
