Old Age - Official Gamemode Thread!

UPDATE:

Fixed crash when shooting a crossbow.
Fixed Battleaxe being weaker than Antlion Hook.
Fixed Effects (apparently I have to do Effect:SetStart(), never knew lol)
Fixed Connection to SQL (When connection is lost, it will no longer reset the players character!)
Fixed the equipment sometimes lagging after a whilel
Fixed head *flickering* in first person.
Fixed additional whatever bugs to improve performance.
Fixed grouping HUD not showing up.
Added Recipe books! OMG HAX
Added Forge!
Added Cooking (and roaster and campfire :D)

Waiting for the host to enable the site again, and the gamemode mysql is hosted on the site...so that is probably why maw has shutdown the server, should be up soon, im trying to work everything out.

SQL server seems to be online. I will do some minor preperations before I open up the server again.

Few fixes like:

Wielding an offhand while carrying a crossbow.

Added new items: Royal Wood Shield, Reinforced Leather Shoulders, Wooden Bow

Agility now makes you shoot faster with the bow (With limits incase of someone shooting with super sonic fire rate)

Added support for CTF Medieval gamemodes for Old Age (None related but I put it in here to let you know there will be CTF minigames on the gamemode :3)

Removed the flatline sound when dieing. Replaced it with a more suitable death sound :3

I think I fixed the Group HUD. I didnt get to test it because BOTs isn't players.
I also need to check if the Armor equipment thingy works more properly this time on predicting player equipment. BOT problem again <- :C

Compressed all the download contents on the fastdl into bz2 files (Means you download ALOT faster!)
Fixed few bugs ;P

I am so disappointed... This gamemode needs more custom content, or at least .bspZIP so I can play on the server without errors all over the place.

Please look at the thread instead of posting without reading anything. The IP was posted on the previous few pages and on this page to. It was pasted more than 5 times over 4 pages (Maybe more)

Just wanted some opinions on my reskins for the citizens, this is just a heavy WiP suggestions and criticism is appreciated. I know I haven't re-skinned the shoes yet, like I said this is a heavy WiP.

Yea, I was thinking of doing normals, but I'm not professional at skinning. This my first try at skinning an organic model, and I'm not quite sure how to do normals to be honest, I know how to make them by importing the .TGA into VTF edit and then selecting generate normal map, but that's it. If you have a good tutorial for them I will gladly follow it and add them to this skin.

Updated the textures, and did the shoes, I know they don't look really Medieval but it's the best I can do.

I think, I forgot to tell you all, that the server is locked because of some updates, I am doing on it and because the server is getting moved to a much more stronger server box. :)
