But that's just it, even if we don't like it, and don't buy it, some 12 year old can buy it, perma-ban every player, destroy the server, and all that jazz. It's very dangerous.
all i have to do is open EV Menu, recall the players that were banned. Unban them, Remove the players powers, Ban him and the problem is resolved. and you can only perma ban if you buy super admin, im sure noone wants to pay $35 just to get banned right after.

About my plane lag train,
It's not just me that has the whole ownership=lag. Some guy came onto the server with a different contraption and when he used it the server decided to go to hell, but when anyone else uses it or the owner remote controls it the server is just fine. Any ideas?
when you say owner do you mean me? if you mean the contraption owner, yes just no colide your props better or start learning how to parent. Other then that, its a GMod issue.

Just gotta put this in, I've always followed that rule. I have 4 servers. we dont sell admin at all because of this, only trusted players and Havoc members (The clan) can get admin. I've seen so many servers get
destroyed by the 12 y olds with their parents credit cards. Also if someone donates then It should be because they like the server and want it to stay in the same quality.

Set your NPC limit to 0, FFS. There was a guy that was doing nothing but spawning shitloads of combine turrets next to people on your server.
Welp, my server fills itself and people enjoy it how it is right now, ill lower the NPC limit. but LIKE I SAID FOR THE 5TH TIME. If you don't like the fact that your able to buy your rank, Simple don't buy it. Or don't join i don't care. I've ran a set ammount of servers in my life time. I know how to manage them. I'm not going to completely change my thinking just because someone thinks its a bad idea. I Don't care what you think or say. It's my server, ill do what i want. It's almost a month old and its more popular then it ever was. Like i said this isn't permanent.

When I first joined your server, it was full of little kids raming train into everything, people screaming one another, people posing ragdolls.. pretty much what happens to every build server of course so you might as well take the "Serious Build" out of your server name, I saw no one building anything serious, I saw a ton of people spawning Drunk Combines, or using those annoying e2 hover scooters and ragdolls everywhere.
As far as paying for admin, its still a bad idea and your going to get abusive admins or little kids who will make the reputation of your server go down the drain.
And if a lot of people say it's a bad idea, I would at least listen to their suggestion.. but if you know what your are doing, I hope it works out.. from what I've seen it looks like server is headed in the wrong direction.. yes it may be "popular now" because you posted this thread, but its bringing in the wrong type of players, there is a reason I don't like to advertise, I would prefer people find our servers rather than us advertising about it, but everyone has different ways of doing things.

I'd say give Train a chance. If he truly knows what he is doing then he should be able to handle the server fine. Right now it's a not-so-serious build server with tons of trolling, laggy contraptions that may or may not be from the adv. pod bug, drunk combine everywhere, and raging kids. You've also got tons of exploits on evolve.
Train, do you think you could throw on ACF for respected and higher?

You seem to be infested with drunk combines - my suggestion is to disable the advanced duplicator's public folder, and then [i]get a set of competent admins[/i] to scrub the rest of these people off your server. Seriously, the biggest, boldest rule on the server needs to be [b]make your own shit[/b].
Oh, another quick fix is to set sbox_ragdolls to 0.
I like to keep ragdolls because people like to make scenes, Im making Drunk Combine Illegal.

My idea is to just make the server vanilla, only with Evolve (admin), and Wire.
Surprisingly, it is just that. There's no other superfluous garbage. It's construction tools (Precision Alignment, Easyprecision, multiparent), wire, and Evolve.
Should I play? Is it fun? I want a server where a group can go PVP with prop built bases and siege engines. The good 'ol days.

I think it's pretty good so far. There's no PVP so far, but it's a nice strong server for building stuff.
I don't want to enable PVP because then assholes will join and start aimbotting everyone. It's just too mingy. At the moment with the ammount of admins we have.
