All our life support models have the plugs built in. But we also have separate air/energy plugs specifically for custom devices. While it'd be preferable for the SBEP team to update all their models with plugs, you can script entities to spawn with plugs attached [url=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5459632/frontier_testmap30006.jpg]like this.[/url] That entity is a test entity that produces an unlimited (or some really high value, can't remember) supply of energy and it's a box model textured black with a plug attached. The SBEP team can do the same thing with their devices.
Make sure the LS models themselves cant have thier models changed. It pisses me off to see people flying around in tiny fighters with 8 fusion generators resized to a .25x.25 cube.
The LS models are already decently sized as of yet, there's nothing like the SB2 Fusion reactors...although I agree with you, it does get annoying, especially when you've spent all that time re-arranging things in your ship so they all fit nicely and everything's balanced.

Oh and I agree totally, I just love my ship to bits....which is often how it ends up. That being said I could always rebuild...bigger...and better....faster....hopefully stronger considering I crash every 10 minutes, seriously.

Ahh, I understand now, neat. Those ropes/plugs are really cool, every-time I see them i just.....oh god i cant wait to play around with those!

I'm guessing you guys have been thinking about this already, but here's an idea:
Helmet HUD.Just hide the regular HUD so that the screen is wiped clean, and add some clear black space on the bottom left and/or right side of the inside of the helmet. Then make a nifty new HUD in Lua!
You can either attach it to the helmet prop, or give it a powering-up animation after the helmet has been closed. I think it'd really deepen immersion a whole lot from using the standard HL2 HUD.

I'm a little curious about if you guys have created a new W.M.D or not. The beam cannon, while powerful, doesn't really count. Maybe a new nuke that doesn't kill the propwelds of everything on the map like tetabonita's nuke, hopefully spruced up a bit. If you do decide to remake Tata's nuke, I have a little inspiration for you.

Antlion, it's when the Devs say so. I can guarantee you it's not done yet, and won't be done for a while. But that's all I can explain. A realistic ETA is, if people keep asking, probably the same amount of time it will be before Episode 4 comes out.

There is one suit, really. That suit has multiple attachments. There is no upgrade that reduces the base amount of air, but there is one that increases it, among other things.
