See now, Eve never really appealed to me.
Not that its not a great game and all, anything with space cant be bad...
It just seems overly complex. thats why I like gmod, the ability to play in space in a package I can understand.
Gmod has the ability and potential to be insanely complex (completely automatic resource processing/distributing terraforming ship with guided auto-ranging/firing weapons/shields/etc.) or extremely simple (2x2 PHX plate with a traffic cone thruster and a chair.) That's why I like Gmod.
Or I can ignore space entirely and shoot watermelons with nukes.

I'm doing it for the lulz, any access I get from it would be purely secondary.
And to be frank, the fact you'd be that desperate to get access to a beta gives me the impression you wouldn't do very much actual beta testing...

Funny thing is, I'm a lua coder myself, and I would probably help a lot more than any other beta tester with no knowledge of lua.
Also, it's really not desparity (I don't even think that's a word :3), it's fun to do crazy things every once and awhile...
Anyway, I really don't care for beta testing at all, just thought it would be fun to see what happens, but I guess all that happens is people just criticize me.

Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with the stuff, but I wouldn't want someone that's high as a kite codin' a game mode. :v:

Not quality issues just some code forgotten and it not working. The people I know don't have the mental dexterity while high to code.
I'd say I was under the influence of some sort of substance during at least 50% of development of frontier_solarsystem.
Anyone who says coding high could be bad is completely wrong, in fact I feel like I can code better high (seems like it too, once I'm sober it seems my code is usually implemented better.)
It also depends on a person's personality, though, everyone is different.
Also, Telepethi, it's not LUA, it's just Lua. You don't capitalize it like that. (just thought I'd let you know) Ignore how the forums say LUA.
