I agree with the above. Heatsink/venting systems that give off particles and glow when enough power is run through them.
the creators aren't linked to space-build. Just because you've had bad experiences with space type game-modes isn't a justifiable reason to threaten random people who are trying their best to give the community quality content. Its like saying, and to be frank you dont throw your anger/frustration at random people who you happen to think are similar to some other person you dont know.
I was KIDDING sheesh. Why would I put smiley faces if I wasn't? Oh and I have another suggestion for this gamemode. A simple one. Why not make pre-working ships (if possible) or chairs or something that you weld to the ship/whatever and you are able to control it like a normal vehicle. Instead of all that wire shit with the gyropod and stuff.

Youtube sucks, and whenever I ask someone to help me they just call me a noob and blow me up. ):

How to make a ship pilotable.
How to make a ship pilotable.
Pretty sure if you have the latest SBEP and go into 'Advanced Gyropod' it tells you everything on the right side of the Q menu
Pretty sure if you have the latest SBEP and go into 'Advanced Gyropod' it tells you everything on the right side of the Q menu
Yeah, also using Wire pod-controller is generally accepted to be a good way if not the "Best" way. There really isn't any real reason not to learn basic wire.
There really isn't any real reason not to learn basic wire.
Sure there is. If you're really lazy, or you don't really learn very well from online tutorials. (I didn't learn it for a while, until I had someone show me ingame what things did. Once I saw it done in front of me, with me being able to ask any questions, it was easy. There's so many different tools, though, that it's easy to get lost if you don't know what each one does.)
To be honest, this is a "Gamemode" not a "Model/SEnt" pack. Prebuild ships are all well and good, but should be a seperate addon, such as *gasp* the SBEP pack...or maybe an entirely new one, although if it works, why can it? I like the direction this is going with being one pack, instead of three or four like the current Life Support, Resource Distibution, and actual Spacebuild Gamemode are now. It kind of streamlines it, and I'm sure the Frontier team is making better use of the updated hooks. Don't get me wrong, I love spacebuild, but it seems like there's no effort to keep it up to date anymore, especially with the engine updates and such...other than Levybreak and Morcam, I suppose, but Frontier seems to be just what we need to revive interest in "Space" building. The current incarnation of Spacebuild really needs a complete rebuild, and nobody really wants to do so anymore since the main driving force behind it has slowed :/ Frontier team, keep up the most excellent work. I have high hopes and expectations out of it, if the videos of your alpha testing are anything to go by.

Laziness is never a reason not to do something.
I can't get anyone to explain it to me... I'm not lazy -.- No one will explain it to me in game, no one gives a shit.

If I met Wire in real life, I'd punch him in the face and demand his wife as compensation for years of suffering.
If I met Wire in real life, I'd punch him in the face and demand his wife as compensation for years of suffering.
Considering Wire in real life gave you computers, lights, television, cinema, games consoles, phones.....etc I think you'd let him punch you in the face offer your wife for compensation of years of luxury and comfort hahaha ^-^ or do you hate technology? so the maker of wire in real life would be Eddison or Tesla?
He's talking about the addon :smith: I would also punch the addon in the face. :smithicide:
He's talking about the addon :smith: I would also punch the addon in the face. :smithicide:
Well no shit Sherlock :/ Its a rhetorical statement, the same way his was hahaha. Chill yourself. Page emperor!(cause king is overdone)
I was kidding. But honestly, I dislike wiremod. I like the simple ol' days. Where whenever you join a server, there weren't freakin' gocarts and teleports flying everywhere.

It offers possibilities that wouldn't exist otherwise, allowing increasingly complex designs and work-flows as well as contraptions. It's kinda like old people, those who dont learn to use computers can keep in touch to the same degree anymore as they once could. Lets not grow old gentlemen. And slightly back on topic. Anything new? I quite liked how we could point the solar panel at the sun and actually get more energy.
This looks sweet. Looking forward to it. You guys have a donation page or something like that?
And slightly back on topic. Anything new? I quite liked how we could point the solar panel at the sun and actually get more energy.
We needz mawr gunz. If you do make real handheld guns for this gamemode, I think you should make them require energy. o_O

We should unplug it. Its just a wire. Take out the base, the rest loses energy. Kidding.
We needz mawr gunz. If you do make real handheld guns for this gamemode, I think you should make them require energy. o_O
They could like, feed off your suits stores or something. That'd be quite neat, nice thinking.
^ When i read his post i was thinking built in suit energy that would "plug in" to the gun and that be your ammo sort of like in Global Agenda.
As long as thrusters will require fuel or energy I will be happy. That always bothered me about spacebuild.
He's talking about the addon :smith: I would also punch the addon in the face. :smithicide:
Meh, I'd beat it with a stick. In all seriousness, I used to hate wire, but then I figured out how to make swirly emergency lights. I've gotten good enough now to where my ground bases will recognize hostile players, lock all outer doors, activate auto-tracking rocket turrets, and bring energy shields online. The base does that by itself. I don't have to touch anything. If all that fails, I can use chat to teleport to safety.

I really hope this gamemode doesn't get dropped. It seems like a much needed refreshment on the whole spacebuild genre.
