After seeing that media post by DaApocalypse, and reading a few more pages, this is definitely looking great. This is exactly what a space building gamemode should be.

Because of this I am now really quite excited about mapping for Frontier. Any other Frontier-specific mapping points or is the rest of it more or less statu quo?
Obviously you are not taking on more people now you have Bynari kicking ass and taking names (as he should) but I and a couple others would appreciate it if, nearer the time of release, you could release some basic info on mapping for the game mode - It would allow there to be more maps available close to release if you give us the basics before hand (even if we cant access the game mode to test them).

Yes, this is planned. But not until we're further into development. (The fgd for Frontier has already been rewritten like 3 times)

Watched 30 seconds of that video, had to shut it off. I must now not watch media from this game...As i must now go buy it to play.
I hope frontier will not have something like CAF(LS3).
CAF is just a clusterfuck of lua that somehow work.
Its often pain to add custom generators resources or storages.
And since noone is really caring to update LS3 and SB3 anymore I just can look forward to this gamemode.
Also is someone going to take the LS3 models (which arren't that bad) and make them useable for Frontier?
Even Frontier's models are x times better than the LS3 ones its allways good to have a big range of models.
Also I want to give a big thanks ahead... it was(and still is) really time for a revolution in gmod spacebuild.

I think it could be done as an expansion pack sort-of-thing. I think base frontier should not have very much more than it does now, as it will get chaotic and bloated. If there are to be expansion packs, I say they should be officially approved.
