I mostly played Darkrp but then I found CityRP, it is insanely good... the admins are not minges, and they do there job very well. Plus the fact you its in evocity and you can drive cars makes it all the better.

I know a EXTREMELY good server bizrp it has about 60 people on from 2 onwards very good all original best admins and owner a brilliant server in gerneral its a real life roleyplay realy good loads of cars and your encouraged and helped along the way i recommend at least checking it out

Its a new community Im a regular Admin there. Right now were usually at 6-10 players. its only a 20 slot server at the moment. We are changing soon though. There's a few little bugs but nothing major. Generally there is more admins playing than regular players. And we've had our share of minges. IP is : 70.42.74.115:27015 We also have a TTT server: 109.169.46.98:27015. Foxx is our main owner of the servers and Bloody is his partner. Bloody is working on putting PERP into a Windows box and then we can have up to 50 slots.

I have yet to find a single server that runs PERP that can even be deemed semi-serious. PERP can be semi-serious at most if people would play it right and the playerbase wasn't mostly kids from the ages of six to ten.

like i have said about biz it is great but it is semi-serious with people using /me's and anyone who acts like a 6 year old and does not play by semi-serious rules or does not play nicely get sdealt with almost instantlyit is great for rp and everyone on there is nice apart from a minority it is like perp but on a different, more realistic track with regular improvements and they listen to people they run on evocity 33x so search it up in maps and iot's there under game: Bizrp

Let me point out some differences in serious roleplay and what most kids will do on PERP:
Serious roleplay -
1. IC and OOC chat actually means something to people in serious roleplay.
2. People in serious roleplay tend to follow rules a lot more than any of these other so-called "srs" roleplay competitors.
3. There isn't some magical way to get guns and if there is, you earn it. For example, if I wanted to buy a gun in a zombie apocalypse themed roleplay, I would have to save up [B]a lot[/B] of money to aquire such an item. I could buy it from a trader, or find it on my own.
4. In serious roleplay, character development matters. Do you know what that is? Well, I guess I shouldn't expect you to know. In any case, PERP is not based off of character development. It has the same motives as DarkRP: Get rich, steal shit, wreck havoc and if you're a cop try and stop it.
You're going to have to show me a whole hell of a lot more than just text on a screen to make me believe you have a truly serious PERP server.

We don't know, you've just told us to give you a 'good rp server' without really describing what you want other than describing how you play TTT which is NOT a role-play in and conventional sense other than the traditional kids screaming 'rdm1!!' every 2 minutes.
A good role-play server is purely subjective to the person playing, I myself would love a role-play that is quite serious but isn't afraid to take the pole out of its ass and do some truly crazy shit no matter how bad the storyline is thought out or how much combat is involved.
Of course, said role-play server does not exist, but regardless you need to tell us your preferences.

You've been gone way too long in this case. I can't describe all the changes, but I can tell you that both the MPF and the Resistance are a hell of a lot more tolerant.
GWRP is good if you want a good class-based basewars server. GWRP is NOT roleplay.
I wish Desertia was still around. It was probably one of the best small RP groups on Garrysmod i've ever played in.

I played on there a few days ago, and I must say that I really had a good time on there. People roleplayed well, the story was good and I didn't notice any drama going on. I had a really good time, and I'd totally recommend them.

Ah, okay. I kind of thought that's what his reasoning was. I mean, when you get on Facepunch and say a server sucks, you at least have to give valid reasoning amirite?
If you're looking for a serious RP you're more likely to find something you like by searching in the server list for servers running tiramisu, openaura, severance or something like that.
I know OA and shit are frowned upon but really, most serious RPs run it.

PE was a good community, so were its follow-ups, PD and VG, but all of the non-officials are either people who stole the gamemode and try to push it as "Perp 10" or Danish kids who just figured out MySQL and think they're "cool".

It is a branch-out of Divine Circles, which this guy (Cryptic) was a head admin of, but some shit I didn't keep track of happened, and he got kicked from DiCi for hiring a DDoSer and similar stuff.
Now, for some reason still beyond my comprehension, despite never actually being on the Genesis server, he claims it's shit and discriminatory towards new players.
He has a negative track record of trying to sabotage out of what I can only assume is jealousy or revenge. I don't know, it seems absurd to me, but I assume that's why he says these stuff.

Instead of saying the administration team is shitty, why not send a complaint telling them what they are doing wrong, and we will try to fix it.

And FYI, we help the newcomers best we can, teach them if they don't know SeriousRP and so on.

I joined an RP server once, spawned with a gun, shot someone, got banned, went to go play a decent gamemode (Ex. Sandbox).

As in, neglecting players they do not find to their liking. For example, one of my friends, and I won't mention names of anyone on the server, was talking to some CCA guys ooc. He must of pissed on of them off, because the guy systematically found his characters and pked them. Also the guy killed his lower ranking CCA for insubordination or some crap. Also, you can't get into any of the factions unless you are friends with the leaders.
