And this unfortunately happens and ScriptFodder scripts then drown out all original content. Because why bother making things for your own server when a 12 year old can just download a shitton of leaks, paste them onto his server, and get twice the amount of people you have. Why not sell them on ScriptFodder instead?
Because children with DarkRP servers, their parent's credit card and no lua knowledge are easy prey. There's an arms race, except instead of weapons it's unnecessary addons.
Hell, I'd love to be paid for typing math.random() down in a lua file for some fat 16 year-old brony kid.
ScriptFodder is like a confidence booster. Im not sure if thats the right word..
If you sell a script for free, the server owner will just download your script, and probably never comment or review on the script, which isn't helpful for you at all.

Whether or not you think what they do is easy is irrelevant to the fact that they're laughing straight to the bank with the money they're making and you're sitting here bitching. I don't care why they seem to love the taste of my shit, but boy do I sure love making money.
Their financial success comes from selling what people want. Spoiler alert: a lot of Garry's Mod servers want those types of addons, so you can whine all you want, but at the end of the day, they make their money, they have happy customers, and they certainly don't care about your opinion. Are you also going to complain that some people sell easily recreated pieces of art for millions by simply splashing paint randomly on a canvas? Call me fucking picasso.
