Woah! Havent been on this forum in...4 years?
This thread was VERY helpful. The most simple instructions I've found and it helped me install PHX3.
Why the HELL isn't it on Garrysmod.org where everything else IS?
The wire part did not work for me. It said the server refused connection.
Why the HELL isn't it on Garrysmod.org where everything else IS
Because...
1) Garrysmod.org sucks
2) SVN Owns because:
a) 10 times faster download speed
b) Update with the click of a button
c) Latest version all the time
3) Nothing of worth is on Garrysmod.org except Smartsnap. But smartsnap is so small, it isn't worth putting on an SVN.

SVN is good but slow,
the reason phx3 is on svn is because they release lots of updates and if ppl used gmod they wouldn't get the new updates without having to redownload the whole thing
OMG Thanks! I was needing it.
Hello..i will teach you how to get phx 3!!
1. you need a program called: TortoiseSVN
2. Download it here: http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads
3. Install it.
4. Now open my computer and go into: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Username\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons and make a folder called phx3
5. now right click on it and select TortoiseSVN then go to export
6. in URL of Repository enter this https://phoenix-storms.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phoenix-storms
7. click ok
8. then it starts downloading all the phx items you need to have.
Get it for wire
1. delete your normal wiremod folder's.
2. make a new folder in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Username\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons called i'll delete this later (for you do that).
3. right click on it and select TortoiseSVN, then go to extract
4. in URL of Repository enter this: svn://wiremod.com/wiremod then okay
5. a box popup in username say: anonsvn and anonsvn for password
6. now begin download
7. then you is done go to the i'll delete this later folder and select the new files. then extract the files inside that to your addons folder

SVN is an efficient way of distrubuting addons and pretty much anything.
Then again, You could just use GMan.
LMAO, Thread for newbies.
It's very easy to learn >_>
Crap, necropost..:(

They don't make 62bit.... You even linked something that proves that.
Also, why did someone bump this thread?
It's ALSO not on Garrysmod.org because after it gets updated...AGAIN...people will cry that the latest version isn't on the site and then this WHOLE CYCLE gets anally raped.
