There are heaps of new "original" gamemodes out there now.
The problem is that they are being buried by all the damn DarkRP and FNAF junk.

You've clearly never coded. I have more fun coding than I do playing the game because there is just something great about seeing your code run as intended that makes it so enjoyable

But you still know what is going to happen, I want something that I can just go into not having any clue how to do, but learning as I play, and when I do learn, I find a good community and have fun for a while, then I find another gamemode and repeat.

Sorry to say it, but that's nearly impossible now. Unless someone else makes a new gamemode or does something different that isn't Dark RP or TTT related, you're not going to get that opportunity. GMod's in a creativity coma right now, sadly.

Again, try picking up coding. From what you've said here, it's apparent that you haven't done anything with lua before, so there's an entire portion of the game for you to explore. You may go into coding with the knowledge of what you [I]want[/I] your scripts to look like, but you won't know how they'll come out when you actually get them working.

Actually if you look past the pessimist (spastik2d ) who thinks everyone on gmod is stupid (apart from himself) you would know there are many new game modes that are avaliable you just have to look at the server browser, find something that sounds interesting to you and get you and your friends to join. New game modes not populates? Then populate them! there's no point like sitting on forum complaining all the time and getting mad (spastik2d).
