then that's probably something to do with tickrates and how the server is set up, you still have 150 ping on a 150 ping server, nothing can stop you being (at least) 150ms behind
The max transfer rate is set higher then normal servers, doesn't over load servers processor at all, and Ive been on a lot of servers that I get 50 ping on yet I get no lag on mine. Other players from America have been on and they did not lag. Another thing I noted, 150 ping is actually bad on the server, a lot of people average 80-100 ping. Now please don't start this "Oh your server sucks" again I'm not looking to get banned.

just because you'd settle for 150 ping because you're too cheap to actually get an American server doesn't mean that fellow Americans are obligated to join your server.

200ms is my limit for doing anything multiplayer related. Past that, it's just disorientation for me.

I don't feel the difference under 300 ping, so I base my decision on other factors, such as whether or not I think everyone on the server are a bunch of mongoloids for example.
He's not talking crap, and another ban might be inevitable.
Look Codylewiz, you don't know anyone in this community all that well, especially the types of folks you would want as admins. They also don't know you. Most of the people who would make effective admins, who are reading this, already are at another server. Your timing is what's killing you here.
With a game like gmod it might not matter so much but if you're playing a fast paced competitive fps and start playing it seriously, you'll probably start regarding only pings under 60-70 to be playable

I also raced a diesel truck in Ripmaxes rally last year with 400+ms and snagged the top spot in the diesel class, and beat out most of the gassers, I think I finished 5th overall. (was on gm_rallye)

the only gmod cars I've ever drove in multiplayer were perp/ocrp ones and the felt like shit all the time
It's not the ping, it's the spikes and dropped packets.

it's a mixture of both, having high ping is still a disadvantage, maybe some people are just more used too it than others, but ping still matters when we're talking about the general quality of how a game is playing and how it feels and how responsive it is
There is no lag, lag strikes occasionally happen to me because I have crappy internet and crappy laptop and I get lag strikes on every server I actually get smaller strikes and crap on mine. The most a person has gotten on the server is 300 and he was in Antarctica on satellite internet. That being said, I don't really care for this thread anymore. It was posted before I was originally banned can some admin or something remove it please?
Can we let this thread die now? It's derailed as fuck and nobody from facepunch is going to apply to the server in question.
