Here is another one: People who claim that others are not playing GMod properly because they like to do one thing instead of another. I thought the whole point of GMod was that it was meant to be a sandbox to play with?
I suppose this falls under my earlier rant of people taking GMod too seriously, but that sort of thing Ive seen quite a bit.
Edit: Well doing jerkish things like DDoSing servers or trying to crash them on purpose is not playing it properly, it's being a jerk.

Trying to install legacy addon; renamed info.txt and everything and it wouldn't load. And I spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out what went wrong and then realized I'd forgotten to copy the folder into addons.
I'm not very smart sometimes.
Also, although I can find lots of nice maps and models on garrysmod.org (maybe I just have better luck finding things than other people, because everyone I know says the site is very bad) sometimes there are multiple versions or a multi-part and you can't figure out what you're supposed to download.

I use Gmaad extractor on workshop .gma's for legacy addons, works like a charm.
Garrysmod.org is bad for addons, models maps and skins should all be fine.
I've found some very beautiful maps on garrysmod.org that weren't on the Workshop; same for models. What is amusing is usually 4-5 days after I download and install it it suddenly appears on the Workshop anyways. Happens every time, I swear. (My mother, who is mostly sort of crazy, claims I'm jinxed. That probably explains it.)
I don't bother with anything that's scripted there (sweps, stools, scripted npcs) -- they're, as a rule, broken by the GMod13 update, which can be occasionally disappointing because there's a few I would love to try out if I could lua well enough to fix them. I think only one I saw was properly updated.

A lot of the garrysmod.org scripts have been or will be reuploaded to workshop, fixed. So if you see something you like that isn't in workshop either wait or make a request. That's what I do anyway

I can see why servers have them but when there's no admins online and some minge is going around ruining the game for everyone then people should be allowed to 'deal with them'.

They simply have unfair Admins. As young as 10 year olds. Or the owner "Ron Burgundy" who decides it perfectly okay for him to spawn in money and guns for himself and then rob people.
Then servers which you been playing on, saying how they don't want to accept admins who only play as gangsters and rob..... but yet the main owner does it almost all the time. Getting in OP guns like the crossbow or RPG and blowing up people, or taking guns when no dealers are around and then robbing others...

This. Gmod is barely playable in big maps now.
Multicore rendering is gone? No wonder the game was acting kind of weird with big maps when it wasnt previously on 12. (I miss exploring gm_ or rp_apocalypse without it running out of memory.)

Well whenever I need blood i turn off the AI, spawn some NPCs, and shoot them. Unfortunately that doesnt give you too much control on where the blood actually goes.
Spawning a construction plate and painting that also works but the construction plate looks really out of place a lot -- the color tool also hides the decals. Havent tried experimenting with materials on the plate though, may be worth a try later on.

I own a DarkRP server thats nothing like this. I'm 20 years old. It's a low-tolerance roleplay. Most of the time being a minge just gets you perma-banned. I demote admins for that crap among other things (generally using admin powers to benefit your RP in anyway, including travel). I'll be damned if I do it myself.

That's not the gamemode.
That's a custom job that the owner of the server you are on owned. Because DarkRP is so easily customizable. Which is a good thing
Those hats in TTT that cover the entire head, making it extremely difficult to tell exactly where their head is for a headshot really piss me off.
Before I discovered the standing pose stool, one of the things that made me mad was trying to get a ragdoll to stand up straight.
Even with the stool, ragdolls more often than not tend to be uncooperative when you're trying to get them into a position. Sometimes their limbs are too small to grab. (Something that worked and surprised me was to grab the Player Resizer and resize myself and it make things easier to grab. Also theres some animation tools that are good. Call me a lazy poser if you will, but it can be a steep learning curve. This might help someone else. I like to help other people even though I get yelled at sometimes.)

Agreed! I'm still stuck with a crappy outdated gaming machine I call a desktop. I get 15 FPS on gm_floatingworlds3 without double processing power. (High settings)
