It's only 3$ a month for like a NFO web you could use as a dedicated FastDL.
Using a bunch of workshop stuff is terrible anyways it's usually a mess, I prefer to subscribe and extract.

Apparently hiding in a bush doing nothing on a DarkRP server spirals you to a story of [I]''why''[/I] without a proper answer.
I get knifed by a random Thief, I try to leg it and he follows me. I set up a meeting with him and my fists. I manage to kill him. I say ''Screw you'' in the chat because I'm mighty pissed from this random attack.
Cue an adventure trying to ask why he attacked me. On the way I get killed by him again, by a hitman, by a gun dealer and by a cop, all without a reason. And when I finally get an answer what is it?
''You hit me in the bush''. Not sure how I hit him [U]when we were together in the bush less than 2 seconds because he poked me with a knife first.[/U]
And lagging started to happen. People start saying it's a DDoS, one-two accuse me. Understandable for the fact I didn't try to handle the situation cool-headed in the chat (for an outsider of the situation I probably looked like a butthurt kid), but I'd never be THAT angry to DDoS a server if I even knew how to do so.
I left the server with somewhat edgy chat message when the lag and random thief wanting to play knife tag got the best of me. IIRC it was something about that it didn't matter to me who sent the DDoS message but everyone can go choke on it (very immature I have to say later thinking it but honestly the fact I was killed 5 times without an explanation might have something do with it).

This honestly doesn't surprise me in the slightest
So I'm regretting starting my DarkRP server again, aside from the problems that have already happened, this is what went on today:
Get on in the morning, find one player yelling at litterly everyone on the server because they don't like a feature of it, they get kicked, come back, complain for 2 minuites then continues playing as normal for 4 hours.
Server crashes so another guy decides to constantly speak in all caps, gets kicked, procceds to do the same as guy #1
Server decides to launch 3 separate instances of itself causing people to spam lag in chat constantly.
Playing a nice relaxing game of bad rats when 5 people message me saying the server is being ddos, check netstat and nothing unusal is there, ran a cleanup, server fixed, checked logs, just a propspammer who said he ddosed in chat.
But there was a part of today which made me happy that I did recreate my server. Yesterday someone bugged me for 2 hours solid asking me to allow them to make a logo I may consider using. Here is the beautiful result:

"Donators" those days want something back, they won't just donate to keep the server alive.
Recently there seems to have been a surge in people starting DarkRP servers, and because of that I seem to be getting invited to one practically every day. What really pisses me off is it seems people can't see that I am currently in a DarkRP server. I decided to ask someone why I should join their server, and this happened.
