I set the rules as "if your spawnpoint is set in your base and someone raids you, destroys it, and places their own spawnpoint down, they control the area, and that's fair, don't be a dick if you get raided..." But there are still people who take it just a little too seriously and scream over the mic, argue in the chat, argue "X ISN'T FAIR BECAUSE IT'S HARD FOR ME TO DESTROY HIS BASE," etc... it's like, holy shit, you guys are how old?

Is it squeakers who scream over the mic?

In addition to this it can be difficult to find a server that has a staff you are confident in. I worked very very hard to keep my DarkRP server's staff fair and hard working. This was by far the most difficult part of the job and often required me to spend 8-10 hours a day purely administrating to make sure that all issues were taken care of in a fair manner. This kept a lot of players coming back. In addition I would do my best to develop and implement (actual) custom content when I wasn't stuck administrating which would also encourage players to help keep the server alive. After a while of playing on a single server you have a connection to the players, you have friends that come back, you have enemies that you interact with, you have a reputation (be it good or bad), and as a result of these things your interactions can become more meaningful. Unfortunately I've had to dedicate much more time to my studies so I've had to stop all work on that server. But I still have players come back and contact me month after month asking about it, asking me what the staff members are up to, asking me where some of the old players are, asking if it's going to get back to the way it was etc. That's the type of connection that would encourage someone to simply donate.

I don't see why though, I looked up their website and they don't claim they made ZS as far as I can see. It's a popular ZS server though so perhaps all those people are just idiots.

I was playing on a TTT Server today and it was me left and two traitors one of them shot them so I killed him and then the other shot me and killed me suddenly the admins start asking why i killed him and I said I killed him because he was shooting at me. I get jailed for the next round (you get jailed for one round if you RDM) I somehow get an incendiary granade and throw it and it somehow kills the Admin which was Traitor this round and I get permabanned :v

Me and my friend (I mean cousin *cough* *cough*) went trolling on TTT the other day and then we stumble upon the Naked Green Man server. We both joined it, named as once of the smiley face emoticons you can get along with the ones you can obtain within crafted badges from the trading card crap. The admins kicked both of us and then, he reconnected to the server named as his normal name but translated into Spanish and then I renamed myself to "Africunt" in Japanese through translator with the same smiley face I used before I got kicked. I was kicked because the name couldn't be pronounced very easily and then I just reconnected and got pissed off so I had a massive go at the admins and I got banned for 6 hours. The workshop needs to be nuked from a distance so noone can contract the stupidity of the workshop.

Sure, that may be the best way to enjoy the map, BUT at least give the player a choice for fuck's sakes. Don't force their game to disconnect or close just because they did one small thing that isn't optimal for the enjoyment of the map. No fucking fun allowed. Edit: You also can't attack. Or jump. Or go into water. The damn map gives you absolutely no option of failure in any way. It's just "walk through, do mundane thing and OOO SCARY JUMPSKARES" Edit2: According to a friend these maps aren't even really made by him. They're just ripped from Left 4 Dead 1/2 campaigns with texture swaps and other minor edits. I wouldn't know for sure but I honestly wouldn't be surprised at this point. Horrible voice acting? Badly edited sounds? Jumpscares that aren't even trying? All while having very visually appealing aesthetics? Doesn't add up.
