One of the guys on the Life post processing mod is pretty crazy and kept talking about how I accused him of being a liar and it "insulted" him. One thing that get's me not mad, but slightly irritated is when I see communities with the name Gaming or RP in it, it's not too big of a deal, but, jeez, get an original name.

workshop dupes are cancer they should just ban all the assholes that make mlp dupes and fnaf dupes from workshop

Servers where a lot of the player act super elitist and shit on new players, but then just talk over me/others when we try to answer questions or explain game mechanics FWKZT's Mall server is fucking atrociously bad for this

I'll say it again, but Serious Roleplay. I want to try it, I want to enjoy it, I like the concept, but every single Nutscript/Clockwork server is either: 1. So bone-crushingly elitist that it's impossible to do anything. 2. Chock full of kids who can't spell and general fuckery from admins. 3. Chock full of kids who think cybering as futacyborgcatgirl emos is "serious". 4. Chock full of kids with 5,000 hammer and sickle emblems in their names. 5. Has good players but is beyond inactive and dead. 6. Full of creepy-ass middle-aged men who like playing as 14 year old Asian SAS Spetsnaz lesbians. Serious Roleplay on GMod just needs to die.

I hate getting killed when i'm a Traitor in trouble in terrorist town. Especially when i havent done anything. Or even,i hate the fact that the only good gun is the two shotguns on this gamemode. I hate getting killed by a shotgunner. I hate so much when the guy i shot 10 time one shot me in the head.. Such a crappy way to build. The guy built a "car" that was effectively 4 axised wheels to a plate, and then put a PAC on the car that was basically a few rescaled PHX curve props that jiggled around a bit. He really lost a great deal of functionality by using the PAC method of creating an actual car body. If all he can do is screw around with PAC, then that's great, but it seems really underwhelming compared to actual contraptioneering. I created a similar car using props in about 30 minutes that actually had suspension and steering and puttered around with it for a while. Dude got pretty upset when I said that the method was less than great.

Brings his morale down, and probably doesn't want to try anymore. Been in this situation. As a third party most obviously. Saw some guy getting talked down for something he really tried, and you saw that he was pretty upset about it. Just don't be a cunt about it. So I reuploaded the addon that was that was missing, then he has the nerve to come along and say that he "owns the copyright of the addon" Even though all he has done it ripped models from another game not even owned by Valve and stick them into Gmod. I think Jesse V92 needs to brush up on the law a bit.

Garrysmod is a sandbox because your supposed to be able to do whatever you want.

But when he comes along bragging that it's his, its copyrighted and he owns it, instead of stating halfway through his post comment's about getting a new Steam account and reuploading it. Then files a DMCA takedown, yeah that get's my back up. This guy also takes screen caps of people if they ask a silly question and put it on some wall like his s!@t don't stink.

Magenta clearly stated that he does NOT want his mods to be reuploaded. No means no. Ever tried my Far Cry 3 Sweps Remake or my CS:GO Swep pack? Yes, they're not my models, but I personally edited, ANIMATED (Which by the way isn't something you can just rip from any game, and it takes a LOT of time), and then coded them. If I were to take these down and someone were to re-upload it, I would get really pissed off. It was my work, not yours. I'm perfectly fine with people using my assets, as well as distributing it between them (since it is a free country), but re-uploading it without my consent is just utterly annoying.

No, this was a STALKER Scar addon which is just car models ripped from STALKER (not animated in anyway) and modified base sent_sakarias luas. EDIT: I should also say that he didn't rip the Stalker models either and that he had used them from another addon.

I'm as open minded as the next guy when it comes to building contraptions, but he was being pretty aggressive about his method of building and completely ignoring any and all downsides that it might have. In the end, I just walked by him from time to time and said "nice contraption." Makes him feel better even though I have PAC off.

There isn't anything wrong with using PAC to build with as long as it's only used in visuals. You have two options with the inexperienced, teach or ignore, anything else and you're in for trouble.
