More of a "Shit I don't understand" focused on Half Life 2 Roleplay (HL2RP). I have to say, whoever came up with that name had no idea what he/she was talking about. If anything HL2RP is more accurate to the Beta version. These are some things I don't understand. It resembles little of what that game is about and doesn't even exist in the same universe of it anymore. You could make a game-mode about Nazis controlling refugees which a forced to do the Nazis ruling while there is little to none Resistance movement and it would be the exact same as this. Half Life 2 in the is just to get players, this game-mode to be set anywhere and still be the same because it shares practically nothing with Half Life 2 bar a few names.

Granted I can see you're directly mentioning TnB because that's how their ranking structure goes, but I can see your point. Half Life 2 really is like living under Space Nazi rule and being part if the resistance is more like acting like Frwnch Partisians. Though I've never ever played HL2RP I have many friends who have and generally that's the overall feel, but you can RP neato things if you have the will and it isn't something that's too stupid.

was playing PrisonRP just now. There was a clusterfuck of RDM, RDA, guard randomly using their tools on other guards or prisoners, guards running around like idiots. There was some kind of routine that you can check on top of the screen. Prisoners not following it, guards not enforcing it, even saw a guard printing money ._. The idea [I]was[/I] good, but the playerbase is shit <------ RP in a nutshell Any good themed RP on gmod wich doesn't have a shitty playerbase or 50 rules?
