Someone please explain why we don't have a waveform analyzer for source voip that bans anyone under a certain octave from everything forever
Also 8 year old moderators on DarkRP servers that unban the guy you just banned for e2 exploits because "HES MY FRIEND HE WAS IN SKYPE HE WASN'T DOING ANYTHING!!!!"

Then they ban you for "Admin Abuse".
Inside an addon such as "moneyprinter_bonus":
Clientside:
[lua]
function Takeprintermoney(printer)
net.Start("printers_takemoney")
net.WriteEntity(LocalPlayer()) // who takes the money (us)
net.WriteInt(printer:GetMoney()) // how much money we get
net.SendToServer()
end
[/lua]
Serverside:
[lua]
net.Receive("printers_takemoney", function(len, ply)
if ULib then
ULib.kickban(ply, 0, "1337 skid")
else
RunConsoleCommand("banid", 0, ply:UserID())
ply:Kick("1337 skid")
end
end)
[/lua]
then you wait.
Did you seriously send LocalPlayer through net message? You even have the argument defined for the entity that sent the message serverside and even use it, you don't even read the waste of data you sent in the first place...

You don't understand, he is sending LocalPlayer through net message, but LocalPlayer is already defined in the functions argument serverside, and he even uses that argument. It's inconsistent and a waste of data.
I understand what he is doing, people will see that code clientside and create their own 'hack', where they will do
net.Start("printers_takemoney")
net.WriteEntity( LocalPlayer() )
net.WriteInt( 4294967295, 32 ) -- Moneys
net.SendToServer()
Thinking that it will get them $4294967295, but the WriteEntity isn't needed, it's redundant.
You don't need the WriteEntity to make people fall for it.

If the code was actually doing something, and it was called often, I would agree with you, but sending a relatively small amount of bits needlessly isn't that big a problem? I just don't see what you are trying to prove.

Sorry, I'm not referring to just this instance of code, I'm referring to maybe anything else he has coded, where the function is called more often. If he coded it like this, maybe he codes other stuff like that.
I was just giving a suggestion.
I am not trying to prove anything.

My computer lags to fucking crazy when my friend's prop cars drive around, and yet it never did this before I upgraded my computer

The WriteEntity makes it much more appetizing.

Has anyone else noticed that Serverwatch has been really quiet since being unbanned? As in he hasn't made a single post since then?

You mean someone took a second chance on a permanent ban as a major warning to stop posting and re-evaluate themselves before continuing?

servers that put meatspin on your screen before bricking your gmod when they decide to ban you

I once made everyone on a server collabartivley sing bohemian rhapsody through adverts after the owner left his mysql password in a shared file.
[editline]25th May 2015[/editline]
Also, the awful prop protection add-on that some servers have where they allow you to walk through unfrozen props, and don't let you spawn the metal chair, but if the server has e2 enabled you can apply a lot of force to an entity, and disable collisions on it.

Wait, so that's why there are a load of servers with the metal chair blacklisted? Why that one prop in particular though?

you can pick it up with E and smash windows by flinging it into shit. i would assume you could hurt people as well with it

I've seen worse, I once joined an rp server with screens of people getting their asses ripped up. It was not pleasent watching.
I find it annoying trying to keep a commitment up to modding a sever with school work; used to mod a TTT sever but school meant I could never be online. Just the nature of modding a busy sever with asshats trying to get admins de-mod anyone who isn't on for a month.
I swear servers cap FPS because I can get 200fps on a map with no stuttering but I join a server with the same map and fps instantly drops to 5 like a hot potato
You shouldn't expect the same results with 1 player in singleplayer as opposed to a server with ~20 and possibly poorly optimized addons
Is there a userscript that filters anything and everything that has to do with Five Nights at Freddy's?

Because that would be extremely hard to do and it will present many false positives for example imagine if a high pitched sound got played in the background once and someone gets banned.... Why do lots of people have a problem with younger players on Gmod anyway? Sure there can be some annoying younger players, we have all heard of them. But it doesn't mean that every younger player is that way. And there was a "for parents" page on the old gmod wiki too https://maurits.tv/data/garrysmod/wiki/wiki.garrysmod.com/index94b7.html
I'm just to saying if there's an annoying younger player (like the one it you described) then sure ban them. But if there is just a younger player who isn't causing disruption then not there's not really a need to ban them as they haven't done anything wrong apart from being a younger age. We were all kids once you know....

A) I was being facetious
B) I wasn't on the internet when I was 8 because my parents love me and had some semblance of an idea what they were doing raising me.
It's also illegal for anyone under 13 to access anything internet in the US without a faxed copy of a permission slip from their parents, but you know, who follows the law.
