The biggest attack I ever got on my server was 1850.8 mbps of traffic, I then decided to spend an extra $5 a month to have protection that can withstand about 20gbps, and it was worth it watching kids on my server be like "oh, your server is going down now" then getting mad since it wasn't working, then resorting to propspamming for a bit.
This brings back memorys of when i used to have a stronghold server i would always be an asshat to hackers who joined my server calling them out for using ahack or other badly coded hacks. Then they would threaten to hit the server offline with their "powerful" booters that woudn't even lag the server. Although there was this one time where someone actually managed to rat my vps with nfo.

Loading screen music in general is just awful. I'm sitting here on my computer listening to whatever on Spotify tabbed out of Gmod because I've gotta download M9k for the 600th time and all your donator anime player models just to join your TTT server and then my ears are violated by the owner's awful EDM or anime soundtrack. Yeah you can disable sound for Gmod but it likes to freeze when connecting to servers so that takes longer than expected.. And people on Scriptfodder continue to add Loading screen music as a feature which continues to keep loading screen music as a thing.

Oh yeah, and gotta love those dumbass "FearRP" rules(IIRC they were called that), where you CAN'T disobey and attempt to run away from people trying to mug or kidnap you. Oh yeah, and the fact that you can't disconnect from the server if you're kidnapped? Bullshit. What if you need to use the washroom or go to bed? Then you just get permabanned for no reason? You could just setup a a table of blacklisted zones where the SWEP wouldn't work.
Another thing about mugging: Pulling a fucking ~m9k l33t kalashnikoof farty sevn~ out of your ass to mug people. I'm okay with a pistol because you could hide that in a pocket, but with a fucking assault rifle I'll be able to see you a mile away and steer clear long before you get near. (/ryhme)

SGC went to shit way before this. In 2008, you could fly planes with however many cannons you wanted, but eventually people got butthurt and ended up getting it outlawed. No matter how hard the major aircraft groups fought for the right to use aircraft again, their was always some bullshit restrictions being placed down by people who hardly played on the server.
Not to mention they also started disallowing ships smaller then 4x7 because fag-galleons got pissed off that they couldn't shoot small ships with a turreted cannon. Even if the ship is sunk with one volley, just because of that small, "nnnoooo, i want muh historic ships to be superior" tons of people got fucked over.
Now the community sold out to some really crappy ARMA group which doesn't care about the server, and only wanted a small foothold into Garry's Mod which would attract players to their ARMA community. They even force members of the clan to play ARMA, or face being removed from their positions and being banned. Hell they removed the old guard of admins which kept the new admins in line, and from abusing their powers because they saw them as being to lenient with the rules, and because some of them had their own group they played ARMA with.
I can go on all day, honestly I hope that EndEffect goes down in a fireball.
