Overly-customized TTT servers, they feel bloated and I just can't enjoy them.

A number of things: Minges, RDMers (TTT Terms) Prop Killers, Free Shooters (JailBreak term) 12 Year olds with the worst mic + Their horrible squeaky voice And the most is FUCKING LUA ERRORS. Ah damn gotta love it when i fuck lua up when i'm trying to fix one thing and end up nackering the next.

The Crapload of shit 'lel tumblar/my oc pone modl' things that are plaguing the fucking addons, LIKE A PLAGUE. FROM NURGLE. Also Garry's attitude is basically. "Something wrong? Too bad, you stupid asshole."

When there's a kid or someone with a soft voice on the server who's being really polite and playing the game fine and EVERYONE just flips their shit and attacks/insults the kid for no reason other than ~ lol he's 12 ~ I mean, how is him occasionally talking about the game more obnoxious than 'OH MY FUCKING GOD WOULD YOU SHUT THE FUCK YOU UP YOU STUPID FUCKING KID JESUS FUCKING CHRIST' Like, wow ur such a big man picking on kids on the internet go u man

when you make a cool video and the only comments are how stupid someone thinks it is :-). (protip: just ignore stupid comments...making an issue out of it ends up making you look like the bigger idiot!)

Wire and mapping illiterates that try and tell you how things work with big words they don't even know the meaning of get me mad. Just illiterates and mentally incompetent people in general get me mad.

I find it annoying when people RDM on servers that strictly disapproves of RDM and then act as clueless idiots and say things like: "You can't kill people on a sandbox server? I'm leaving, this server sucks" "I didn't RDM wtf you got no proof" (Funny thing is right after they go hide in some building and then start shooting the players again).

Most annoying thing for me is that, when I'm trying to be a respectable admin/server owner and talk to people who done stuff that are not according to the rules. I go to them, and ask for their attention. They either don't respond and then I pick them up with my physgun or just do the freeze command on them. I ask them if they have read the rules and so, I want to be reasonable but often while I'm in the middle of typing a sentence to them, with usually optimistic looks about the whole thing (if I can I don't want to ban/kick people that much), and they just disconnect on me, or disconnect and reconnect because they are frozen. This pisses me off to no end. Anyone had similar moments/agrees with me? Or am I trying to hard to be reasonable?

Because RDMing can happen to people who doesn't want to be in it, and sometimes there is for example two people that are friends and so, RDMing each other, but I think it's easy for them to start dragging in other people/players in it that want no part of it. So at least when it comes to sandbox servers, and the server has an RDM rule, I personally find it justified. Because instead of taking the chance that two willing people will drag in people who don't want to RDM is high enough in my experience to make it worth being a strict rule about it. That is, from my experience.

For Sandbox, RDM does make sense in the respects that your just being a cunt and pissing off other players. From my experience, most sandbox servers do include player-damage restrictions, or the ability to simply god yourself, and that about settles it really. As for Roelplay, RDM is impossible to enforce. The entire notion of "random death match" within roleplay, is illogical in the respects of how people see randomness. As I mentioned in my previous post, RDM is always judged by the victim, not the aggressor. By all sorts of criminology and sociology lingo, by the fact that most RP Gamemodes are set up where the only form of economic gain is made from money printers or other illegal items you will generally be unable to not be at odds with other players. Take for example, the government. Thanks to these only forms of economic growth being illegal, the cops must always hunt down players trying to be in economic pursuit. Welp, therefore cops can be killed. Now the shop owners... They support everyone in the server, and therefore they are matter of strategic importance. The players could kill these shop owners, hostage them, or befriend them as allies. But as mentioned before, their general existence is of strategic importance, and therefore everyone wants to control them. Not only does this mean that shop-owners could get killed, but any group(or solo player) which tries to take control of the credit-preachers is also eligible to be killed within reason. What about the normal players? Do they have money? Reasons found and created.

The fact that I still haven't found my most definite favorite TTT server! Basically, the dream TTT server to me would be: -No fucking de_dolls or cs_maps ever, except MAYBE cs_militia. No 24/7 only one map. -No instant knife. Because if instant knife, it's the first thing you buy as a T, so it's kinda OP. -No gross amount of crap available in the Pointshop because it has the tendency to make the server too fucking colorful and laggy -Not sure what else, No trails maybe? -No ability to hang corpses as Inno/Detective! Then things that SHOULD be on the server: -Most if not all TTT maps on the rotation -Cannibalism knife, Combine turret and Explosive crossbow most notably, plus all the rest of the usual stuff. -Your basic models/hats from HL2 and about, meaning Charple, Kleiner, some Combine soldiers, the Monk, etc. - (Good) Round end musics! Bad round end musics are almost better than no musics at all, but no obnoxious soundfiles DURING the round pls. And the ping can be anywhere between 40-160 for me. Yeah, that's about it I guess. The servers that I've ended up with are: Asian Boy's serv, FawX gaming serv, JustAwesomeGaming serv, NotACrappy serv and Urbangamers, but none of these servers actually have it all. Too picky?

When you want to play sandbox but most servers have it set up so you got to wait for hours on the server before you can start using the toolgun. What's the point of having a sandbox server if you can't build? And you ask them this question, and they reply with something like "We don't care". So instead of standing around doing nothing for hours in game, you just jump servers.

People that asslick Garry's Mod because they hate Source Filmmaker, for the stupidest reasons like making videos being easier to do in GMOD. (Stopmotion is possible in SFM, too! Why wouldn't Valve have Step tangents for that?)

I was trying to find a real sandbox server (one that actually lets you use tools), and I got on one where we had access to every tool, but new players have no guns, and no one has noclip. About 4 players on the server were spawn killing everyone else. So what I did was quickly build an invisible jail cell, save it in duplicator, and unleashed it upon the spawn killers. I have to say, it became quite fun. It went from getting killed and not being able to do anything, to having all these kids cry because they can't shoot everyone up anymore.
