If you don't know what that is though, it was a mod that competed with gmod in the early days ( like before gmod 9). But gmod won by a landslide since it had far more features and the creator had more than 2 brain cells

What you like is not GMod itself but the other gamemodes. You hate GMod 13 because most scripts broke including your gamemodes you love.

The problem is Gmod 9 doesn't have nearly as many features as Gmod 12 did. So since garry got rid of Gmod 12, we're stuck between;
A. Gmod 9 that's missing a lot of content.
B. Gmod 13 that doesn't work.
For crying out loud, if you are annoyed that your favorites scripts are now outdated, stop whining about it in this forum, learn a bit of Lua, and fix it yourself.
One thing that makes me angry are people who whine about problems they can fix with a text editor, google, and half an hour
Battlefield 2: Sandbox is pretty similar to Garry's Mod, difference being is that it's a free mod for Battlefield 2 but it's quite basic.

I built a simple stumblebot in the center of a flatgrass sandbox server and a small obstacle course for him to tread through
The dupe kiddies notice me, they stop spamming rollercoasters and huge wooden house forts at the edge of the map and skybox, a few of them fly over to my stumblebot course and stare at it.

And much much more. Those are just things I remember off the top of my head.
What was once peaceful and enjoyable has turned into "NO DON'T TOUCH THAT HEY STOP SPAMMING DON'T PROP PUSH OTHER PEOPLE'S SHIT STOP SHOOTING EVERYTHING ASF;KDJFKSDGJ" at every turn.

I was TRYING to do my admin thing when ALL THE PLAYERS ON THE DAMN SERVER ARE: REPORTING/MINGEING.
It pissed me off to the point where I ACUALY NEEDED TO TAKE A BREAK, and have some normal player deal with it for me.

Losing PC mod over GMOD13.
As well as having to remove particular features of the game, because people complain about their FPS dropping. This goes for DarkRP as well as building components. A simple light, textscreen, camera use or radios. Always get someone banging on your RP door saying 'OMG REMOVE OR I GET U BANNED MY PC WILL CRASH DO IT CUNT'- and they get madder as it goes.
I understand not everyone can cop a high-end PC, neither should they have to. But when I join a server, download endless add-ons in order to play and follow the server title, I should be at least able to enjoy the promoted perks of a server without having to skip 75% of the content because someone has a low end PC.
If a car on the highway can only go 45kmph, where-as the limit is 120kmph, I suggest you take a normal road as it is pretty egoistical to slow up an entire traffic lane because you couldn't afford a past-2-decennia vehicle
