Overused? Yes. Shitty? No. M9k- I used to dislike this pack but after the "Specialties" pack was released I changed my mind about it. However INCONCEIVABLE, AKA Bob, released his base on garrysmod.org specifically labeled as a SWEP maker template ( "Make your Own SWEPs! M9k base" ) and that's just fucking gay. Also, while M9k and Mad Cow are different packs it should be noted that M9K is an amalgamation of Mad Cow and GDCW code, so you're partially right in that sense.

M9K's weapon base is way to fucking laggy thanks to the ricochet tracers.

When SWEP's are considered realistic because they have shitty bullet ricochet and an extremely laggy smoke effect which means you have to have a damn good computer. Not to mention kids that make the Garry's Mod workshop one of the worst workshop pages ever with sex poses, shitty (and laggy) contraptions, server crashers, and "useful" compact ammo bundles (a fucking load of ammo entities welded together, which can cause a shit ton of lag.).

Also something else to bitch about - More games need to have settings like Red Orchestra 2/Battlefield games in the regards to your monitor. Instead of the simple resolution changes, I should also be able to directly change my monitors hertz rate. Example: 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz 1920 x 1080 @ 100hz 1920 x 1080 @ 120hz 1920 x 1080 @ 144hz Garry's Mod would greatly benefit from something like this(as well as most Source Games) because it would allow the user to change settings to deal with unoptimized maps and such.

I hate it when people complain about servers selling vip ranks. I see this on servers that have put a lot of time and money into customization and also have to pay a large bill for hosting. These people complaining about the vip ranks don't contribute any money to the server and get to play on it for free, yet they complain about every little thing. Do they think that servers just magically appear?

Do they think that servers just magically appear?[/QUOTE] The way I see it, donator perks are fine, as long as randomers and new players can come onto the server and either 1. have the same amount of fun and/or 2. are not placed at a serious disadvantage. You don't want to create an environment that alienates new players from regulars.
