Not knowing where people are getting badass models from, then getting rated dumb because I ask.
Maybe because there is a link?
Two things that I am really mad about: - SNPCs getting deleted: https://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1310564 - Which means all of my work I spent making SNPCs over the years are going to go for nothing. Proof: http://steamcommunity.com/id/drvrej/myworkshopfiles/ I am seriously mad about this just. ~ Sorry for bad English ~
Wow that's rough Why remove that? Backwards compatibility is always a good thing.
I hate how there is so many good looking maps on the Workshop, but either are a: Unoptimized b: Lack cubemaps and use the crappy default cubemaps. c: Lack NPC nodes
Not having the ability to lock vehicles in place. People that instant kill you, noclip out of the map, instant kill you, noclip out of the map, etc. People that are too lazy to mess around with addons themselves, so they watch this stuff instead

I hate how there is so many good looking maps on the Workshop, but either are a: Unoptimized b: Lack cubemaps and use the crappy default cubemaps. c: Lack NPC nodes
With NextBot you can just generate your own set of nextbot NPC meshes so that problem is a thing of the past (unless you want backwards compatibility) [editline]6th October 2013[/editline] SkepticDosh I guess I'm not really mad at him personally, but what the fuck is he trying to do? He claims that all of his work is for his portfolio so he can get a job in game development but I don't know who he's fooling. No one will hire him as a dev based on that unless they're making a LUA game.
Maybe because there is a link?
I mean in the screenshot section. Modelling section okay fine there's almost always a link. But almost nobody posts links to the models they're using in a screenshot (not that I'd expect them to)
As has been posted earlier, when stuff like this shows up in the workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=178806274&searchtext= They literally made a dupe of a model, from a model pack, and used the material tool on it.
5 year old abusive admins and dumb people playing ttt
*Round Ends* Server Cvar ttt_postround_dm set to 1. *RandomKid kills Humility.* RandomKid: I probably shouldn't have killed the admin, he'll probably slay me nao
( under dumb people, not 5 year old abusive admins )
Those retards who spam dynamite near the spawn point and mash the explode key for about three fucking hours. And those times when you want to click on a server, but just when you are about to click, another bazillion servers pop up and move the server you wanted into some random spot that takes another lifetime to find again(thank the Lord God Almighty for server favoriting!).
The slowdown in the addon development community, and in the content creation community of Garrysmod in general. It doesn't necessarily make me mad, but it makes me mad that something so amazing, cool and inspiring to me has come to an almost crawl anymore. Check the Addons and Gamemodes sub-forum, that thing used to be active as hell and now it's got threads on the first page that are almost a week old. I feel mad at myself for not ever having gotten around to really contributing to it, even though I know I always wanted to in some way. Either as a modeller, a mapper or a scripter, but I never could get a hold. That makes me mad too; that I couldn't give back to the very community that's truthfully been a pretty significant part of my developing years. I miss it, man. I miss so many of the things that used to fill my day with enjoyment.

Yeah, the LAF cars are really cool. But thanks to Garry you can't sub to them. Ever since GM13 came out subbing to dupes and saves didn't work. It just slowes down the start up time.

I think Coderhire is a wonderful thing. What I do dislike, however, is that a lot of the time when people are asking for quite simple help in developer discussion, you get a lot of replies which are 'lol go to Coderhire'. Like, if the person is basically asking you to write code for them or clearly hasn't even attempted to look at the problem themselves, then I think it's okay, but there are lots of very talented people here who could provide some very helpful insight.
"Don't disrespect admins or players!" yet you'll only get banned for "disrespecting" admins. I seriously hate any rule that preaches this in any shape or form. It's like if you say, "Dude, quit being an asshole" you'll suddenly get flooded with bans and kicks for "admin disrespect"
Relates to a previous comment: People who join server's or communities claiming and thinking they can run things much better, are completely condescending and generally cynical arseholes, If you think you can do better than everyone else, do it, let's see how far you really get.

when gmod decides to close itself, with no error whatsoever, and ends all progress on anything im doing.
When anything that has you sit somewhere and collect any kind of currency (IE: God forsaken money printers.)
When anything that has you sit somewhere and collect any kind of currency (IE: God forsaken money printers.)
Welcome to real life
When Gmod takes 3 startup attempts to actually give me a working main menu.
Unhealthy competition between communities in general. Communities DDoSing each other over lua addons, as JoeSkylinx mentioned, lawsuits/DMCAs, etc, etc, etc, etc. Communities used to co-exist peacefully. Now it's just a thing of who can DDoS each other first. It's a fucking game. Quit trying to outdo each other via unfair methods and just play the game as it was intended.

Assuming I had about 3000$ lying around for me to go out and get a Lawyer who'd take the case seriously. Afterwords I'd bang my head on the wall thinking "Why the duck did I just spend 3000$ on something so trivial?" So to sum it up, no I wouldn't sue someone over a DDoS on a community.
I've got one. When your HL2RP server decides to switch from Industrial City to Outlands, dropping several whitelists completely with no recompense.
When addons randomly vanish from the workshop without a warning. Also being told to give up on Garry's Mod posing because everyone else is using SFM. And also the fact that my completely-original map icon pack that i working on, no matter how well all the icons are made, probably would never get as many subscribes as re-uploaded addons or whatever.
When a server is lagging most likely due to the host having struggles, people yell "DDOS!" and say there is a DDOS war going on with another community. It's like they have 2 chromosones.
Not to mention people throwing around threats of Lawsuits/DMCAs, DDoS'ing competition because "we need them more" and how the Sandbox community has fallen into elitism between the "Builders" and "Roleplayers" It might just be some rose-tinted glasses I'm looking through[been playing since 2006'ish], but codes of honor were swept away as the game matured.
DDoS, doxxing people, threatening them, legal bullshit, all that other shit is what drove me away from gmod, I just don't want to make a gamemode just to deal with ddos, people doxxing me because I ban them, ect. It's fucking ridiculous, DDoS isn't bad I mean shit you loose your server for a small amount but doxxing people and sending them (false) DMCA's is just like holy shit over the edge. (mostly conna)
Please can we get a system that either hides saves/dupes/videos by default on the Workshop or has an option to? Like, I just searched for halloween stuff in case there are any cool spooky models I could work into special hats or something and literally everything that came up was just saved tf2 trash.
When I load RP_downtown_v5_alt and it's fucking bloc42. Nothing is different at all, some dipshit just renamed bloc42 to lure more people.

"hey! let's throw around ragdolls from franchises we haven't even heard of half the time!" "hey! let's model manipulate these ragdolls into kleiner and call it an npc!" "hey! let's stretch out this ragdoll pack of about five or six ragdolls for twenty minutes!"
