I couldn't even get my passworded server to show up in the new browser so I can't speak for that one but in the legacy browser you can tab-enter and it works.

I feel your pain, I had a GTX260 and had the same problem, raged a little every fucking time... it seems to be just the 200 series though, I haven't had it happen since upgrading to a GTX460 :/ never did find a fix for it

Basically, I hate the fact that the server i administrate has >9000 custom-model SWEPS (Dont get me wrong, the swep bases are pretty good) and how all the CSS models we used to use for a quarter of these sweps were just replaced with even MORE custom models. And I hate havin to tell EVERYONE where to get them.
Add that to the fact that our server was JUST got out of the beta phase of porting to gm13, so now I have to tell these guys to change info.txt to addon.txt.
Also, Greenzone admins.

Give me name of admin? I'll talk to them; admin disrespect shouldnt be permable. This comes as a surprise to me as I feel that we have one of the better admin teams (not that I'm bragging or anything) because
1.You cant buy admin
1.5 you cant annoy people into giving you admin
2.Donators only get admin if they are proven to be trustworthy
3.you cant apply for admin. Either you had to have been suggested by an existing admin to even be considered or the owner has to make you admin.
Really the worst part of our admin team is that we sometimes have edgy attitudes pop up here and there (which is probably why you were Permabanned for such a comparitively minor offense) and that in my experience we tend to hold grudges (*cough Call Me Kiwi wheez*)
But yea, if you want to play on the new server then I'll see if they'll unban you.
And if not... Slip me your steamID and I'll try to reduce it ;)
I hate the fact that people actually purchase admin on DarkRP servers.
Communities that try to over-politicize servers. For instance, anal rule enforcement, admin/moderator applications, "formal" ban requests, ticket support systems, and [B]donation benefits[/B] (especially those that can be achieved on another server for free.) For a large community, I can see things like a place for support and ban requests being useful, but I've always stood on the belief that if you don't know what it takes to be a moderator/admin on whatever it is you're trying for, you aren't qualified. I also believe that the administration should go to the users for new team members, not the other way around.

The only real serious servers are HL2RP, which for the most part isn't real life.
When an admin starts removing my stuff for no reason when I'm working on something serious, then asks me to prove that he did it.
That got me real pissed when it happened.

Okay, I don't want to start up the whole roleplay debate again, but HL2RP [I]is[/I] boring. "Passive RP" is boring as shit because there's absolutely nothing to do or talk about. Being a beaten, malnourished, oppressed population doesn't actually provide a whole lot of interesting scenarios to play through. And that's even if you're lucky enough to have a friend on the server, or one of the "cool kids" is bored enough to strike up a conversation. If you're a citizen, you basically just exist so that civil protection can beat the living shit out of you for the most absurdly minor errors. And the CPs [I]will[/I] beat the shit out of you, because that's all that [I]they[/I] have to do.
I literally cannot fathom how anyone can find HL2RP an enjoyable experience.

Well as I said, I was banned months ago. I don't know who the admin was but, I tried getting on the other day and apparently I was unbanned, so it's fine.

I make ration-cookies by using things inside the ration pack, and water from vend- Oh wait, that's contraband, and it's considered FailRP.
Maybe I'll make an series of books based on my character's story, and sell th- Oh wait, that's contraband as well.
Maybe I can help maintain an factory line- Oh wait, nevermind... Can't do that because the COMBEEN magically produce everything.
My grudge with SeriousRP is it's lackluster. You are trapped in a constant cycle of being tortured or beaten, and you are expected to make a collaborative story with crappy restraints and restrictions. Not to mention, everything is controlled by the admins. The players have little to no control over the events of the story/roleplay.
It's just fucking boring, and way too restrictive.
I'd like to say: PassiveRP isn't a game problem, it's a server problem. A good server will provide you things to do with your passiveRP to make each day new and interesting. A bad one will just tell you that it's not supposed to be "action packed" and leave you to your boredom.
If your players are bored at any point, you're doing something wrong.

Then that's a problem with the players and the server. Still not a game problem. Roleplay can be done with pencil and paper provided you're a good roleplayer with imagination. We have a huge framework and billions of possibilities. If your roleplay sucks, you're doing something terribly wrong or you have the wrong audience.
