its a shame, the few younglings who are friendly and have something to share are scared away. Its one thing to be annoyed at young kids who really are spoiled brats, its another thing to despise all children, even if their intention is good.

Amen. We used to have players in our TTT server get yelled at and insulted for having young voices. We'd punish the folks behind the harassment, but most of these kids would never show up on the server after that.
I understand that they might have a higher voice, but if they're playing the game correctly and abiding by the server rules, they're doing absolutely nothing wrong. For us, the ones complaining are usually the complete opposite of this, yelling in their microphone, RDMing, smart-assing... it's nuts.

A friend sent me that in chat one time, minus the "send this" crap. Honestly thought it was pretty funny, then I browsed the workshop, and... holy fuck.
As for what's getting me mad in Garry's Mod? Hitboxes, hit detection, shitboxes, whatever you'd like to call it, I really hate it. Played a few rounds of TTT on a friend's server earlier.
Shot someone who was running at close range, twice, with a shotgun. Oodles of blood, they're still running. Check their health, "Healthy". They turn around and MAC-10 my fine ass into the ground, with me standing there, last words from my mic being "are you fucking kidding me".
Not even 10 measly points of damage. No damage at all after checking the logs. It's hilarious. Or insane. It's come to the point where I just ignore the damned blood and keep shooting until the person ragdolls.

That's CSS for ya, it has the same exact problem.
Speaking of hitboxes, does Gmod by default only have the headshot hitbox and body hitbox effect damage? I know some swep bases alter damage for limbs, but it appears Gmod by default only has those.
What pisses me off:
When sex pose creators attempt to defend themselves
When people upload a prop from a model pack and say SUPER KOOL (object) or something like that.
When dupes get front page/front spot of the workshop
Now hear me out on this, I don't hate children on GMOD, but I HATE TO HELL AND BACK when a famous youtuber with 1 million-ish children subscribers plays Gmod and alerts them to Gmod's existence. For every smart kid (in their subscriber base), there's 10 more who can't even grasp the concept of weld.
Hell, I don't even hate the idiotic ones, I hate the ones that spew crap out like BUDDER or THIZ COPED CAWL OF DOOTIS.
Even more so? Copy-pasta'rs. (AKA Folks who copy and paste bob/skeletons or even worse copy pasta stuff like "REPOST IN 1 SECOND AND GET FREE STEAM WALLET CASHHHZ!".)

I haven't played CSS in a long while, but I'd swear it was better than this. I'd figure that it's just TTT, but I think it's more noticeable only because weapons have a slower rate of fire. DarkRP? F2S? Pistols are pretty much semi-auto. TTT? Five-Seven fires about three or four shots a second.
And once again, it could be just that. CSS' weapons generally have a high firing rate, plenty more chances to hit, less room for error. I don't really know. But what I do know is that the hitboxes are really fucking awful and they don't help my already-shite skill in FPS games.
When GMOD decides to start downloading addons when connecting to a server.
And said addons aren't even on that server.
(Gmod is downloading TDM stuff when connecting to servers and I didn't even subscribe to TDM-anything.)

I used to play TTT a lot. Whenever I tried to kill my friend (about the same latency and very low latency) with a headshot it just... Did nothing. Only blood but no hit or anything.
