They stole the snowman, the man with the target on his face, the text bubble, etc. The sad thing is they could have used less energy to make an original idea.

When I do auto-connect to a server, and when it joins it's full. Even worse when this happens 4 time in a row.

To be honest, if I join a server, I don't want to be either presented with walls of text using a Font that's shitty to read (just look at it, it's all unicase, it's meant for design, not for full text) or be presented a ugly panel displaying: "Your SteamID is: XXX", "You have 10e23$", etc. I don't need to read stuff about myself whilst joining a server. Who had that shitty idea anyway?

I'm surprised I don't see more servers implementing that type of thing for money or score.

We have a rank on our server which we give to players that we'd otherwise just ban that gives them no tools and weapons and sets all limits to 0 but still lets them talk and walk around. This has been good as it still lets banned players hang around with their friends on the server while being harmless. For everyone else the loading screen is pretty normal, but for these guys they get something special, usually a old intro to a children's TV show like [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGAr6E0_SM8"]Fireman Sam[/URL] or [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB3K7eFFXHE"]Poddington Peas[/URL] on a loop. Luckily for them we have fast download.

Working hard on a nice, completely original addon, and struggling to get even enough ratings to get stars to appear on the addon, then seeing a crummy reuploaded model on the front page. It makes me wonder if it was worth the trouble.

By now, I hate DarkRP. I really didn't chase the popular gamemodes, and I was usually around friends in sandbox, hanging out or building crappy contraptions. Then I said screw it, and decided to try a random RP server. The one with most players. Bought a house, made some friends, random chit chat, went to a cafe, etc. etc. Normal city life stuff. It didn't look all that bad. And then it happened. The people with the Hitman class killing everyone saying it was a hit. Random people pulling out AK47s and killing everyone in sight. Complete chaos. So I just went FUCK IT, and left. Never went there again. Although, there is something I must note, to add to this post. I kind of get why people hate kids, but I've met very good RPers and very mature kids (11,12) that can give me a really good opinion stating why they think this, about something that I need to know if I should do from another point of view. Sure, they ARE squeakers, but since they too realise this they never use their Mic, so kids earned an unfair reputation that IMO they shouldn't really have unless they prove themselves to be that kind of person. Because, on the other hand, adults aren't all that better. Prop-minging, FailRP, RDM, basically every kind of crap when they get bored, or just join a server for it. If they are RPing for real, I can expect a good, nice experience. However, that's not the case most of the times, so I don't really play DarkRP anymore unless a friend invites me to.
