TTT servers that have damage disabled post round. That time is reserved for a motherfucking deathmatch, why the hell would you turn it off?

It doesn't really get me mad because it doesn't really effect me. Yet, I find it just kinda' stupid that there are soooo many TTT "minecraft map only!" servers. I mean, first of all; what is the appeal? I don't think that TTT minecraft is really that great of a map, and certainly not a map worthy of having such a massive following within the TTT playerbase. There isn't really anything clearly wrong with it... it is just boring. Second of all, why is there such a large number of servers solely devoted to this map? I mean, I can understand a couple being devoted to it (yet, not even that makes sense, why are there no other servers with different 24/7 maps that have such a following?), but there is such an inordinate amount of these servers. Why would you even bother hosting a 24/7 minecraft server? It would simply get lost in the sea of 24/7 minecraft servers, that severely limits your ways of setting your server apart. Finally, now this point is a tad bit assumptive; why do people continue to form communities around these servers? I can understand visiting a 24/7 map server occasionally, but these servers most likely have regulars, and certainly administrators. With this I have come to the clear and concise belief that the TTT community is currently being intercepted and subverted by robotic agents sent from another dimension in which they were ordered to take over the world with a crap wave of 24/7 minecraft servers. Our doom approaches.

Our doom approaches.[/QUOTE] To be honest I think it's a somewhat crappy map because A. It takes time to get shit for the Traitor tester (Usually everyone's dead by then.). And B. The Lighthouse/some other places are such good camping spots that if someone figures out how to use them well, they can literally survive the whole match. I'm serious. The (Counter err... Traitor) terrorists can almost always win by camping the tower when I've played. A guy or 2 watching the ladders and a guy or 2 sniping off the roof. As long as no one wises up and get's a sniper rifle to hit them, you can pretty much guarantee that you'll win.

What I don't get is those Minecraft servers with, like, 30+ people. It's quite a small map and somewhat open so I'm not quite sure how something like that would be too much fun.

Guys putting dupes like HEY THIS IS TARDIS IT WORKS! And its just taken from entities and duped and put into there. just. WHY

Power hungry kiddy donator who think they are admins. Also servers who give donators admin powers. So, some abusive donator kiddy built a massive wall on a darkrp server ,gave himself 30k hp and started throwing grenades at the wall so that anyone within 50 meters of it would die instantly. Anyone who was seen would instantly be RDMed. So, I loaded a wallhack and aimbot and used the AWP to shoot him through the wall, taking about 8 shots to kill him. Instantly kicks me, when I rejoin the server he kicks me again. Of course all the other admins who are on dont care beacuse hes a donator so he can do whatever the fuck he wants. Doesnt matter, I ended his fucking kiddy prepube reign of terror by killing him and he couldn't get back behind the wall.

Going to the workshop and seeing about half of the top submissions being dupes and saves. For example: "Zombie apocalypse" on gm_bigcity, with no description. "Minecraft & Gmod Logo" with an excerpt of the description: "Help me get 10 Thumbs achievement, in da future, however, I will move on from save and dupe making, to actual models." And let's not forget everyone's FAVORITE dupe: "Ray Gun", which would appear to be a duped version of ErrolLiamP's Ray Gun swep from Nazi Zombies. It is as if no effort is really put into these creations and yet, people constantly download them. I fear for the day when the front page of the workshop will succumb to shitty dupes and half-assed content.

Stupid people. There was a suggestion on the forums to implement mic battery on the TTT server, so I figured it's kinda dumb to just slap it on there and made it so it only turns on when there are 19+ people on the server. While I was in the process of doing so , I posted on the forums that I'd do it and then someone tries to "help" by saying that I should put "if players > 21 then mic_battery enable" into the server cfg and that should work, I tell him to stop helping if he has no idea what he's doing. Then his friend starts arguing with me how I'm an asshole for not even trying to do the server.cfg thing and that it should work cause it's all in gmod anyways and bla bla bla. Not the one Shitex spewed out) Ace Of Spades and I got votekicked for telling some Norwegian assholes to quit team-griefing crap with grenades. (If they weren't team-griefing they were wasting time building huge ass Norwegian flags at spawn.) Basically it's the entire reason vote kick is disabled on most (Gmod) servers as previously stated. Assholes and idiots will abuse the hell out of it. You could say it's arguably better than not having it simply because players can rejoin, but why go through the trouble. Back on topic: I hate when people try to make gamemodes and fail only because gamemodes like TTT and DarkRP push it all the way down to the bottom of the list. Unfortunately there's no good fix for the flaws in the Gamemode browser.
