Using logic to deduce the last traitor in TTT only to have them cry "RDM RDM RDM RDM RDM" literally like a fucking alarm over their mic non-stop. Even if you attempt to explain why, they still are whining "RDM". Nothing feels better than unbinding their keys so they can't move, spamming their mouse position to one spot so they have trouble trying to exit the game, as I feel the cool grip of the ban gun in my hand. I prepare a speech for their execution as they scream helplessly in their high-pitched voice, unable to escape their doom. And finally, their last sight is a red ban barrel flying toward them at light speed alongside the sound of a cannon going off. I'm a sick fuck.

The thing is, Trolls usually really, really, REALLY over do it. This guy looks like he might be legitimately that... Well yeah.
Admins who don't base their actions on proven things, but rather on the things their friends tell them or them "being admin".

Get rid of the admins, get rid of the rules, get rid of every gangster/thief/retarded idiot job, and have an actual economy. You'll eventually have a good server.
Sometimes I like to think that the GMod Community is like the world in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.
You have the big players who create new Gamemodes and update the game itself (Ala the Dagny Taggarts and the Hank Reardens)
Then you have the mappers and modelers, who contribute to the community through asset creation. (All the underdogs who do work but don't really appear in the story much)
Then you have the folk who don't map or model but appreciate the work of those who do and in turn add to the community through posing and forum discussion.

And then are the people who do fuck all and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter. (Pretty much everyone else in that book).
My biggest niggles come from the workshop, which is mostly made up of the following:
-Maps re-uploaded from other sites
-Maps that are set at a different time of day or different weather and are significantly worse then other maps
-Maps that are re-uploaded from other sites that have been repurposed for TTT or ZS or some other gamemode
-'Babies' first' maps (which are usually giant boxes with a single barrel in it with no lighting)
-Maps are are no different then the original map except this one has double of some key feature the original has
-SWEPs that are basically a CSS skin hashed into the game with some lua coding
-SWEPs that are the above but produce a slew of errors
-SWEP packs that are the same tired boring CSS skins that have been used time and time again
-SWEPs with misleading icons that are clearly from a quick google search and not the SWEP itself
-SWEPs that advertise being from a game but do nothing to mimic the gameplay from that game and instead cause errors
-SWEPs that are really well coded but use a gameplay style not native to Gmod or HL2
-SWEPs that are basically the "Chair Throwing Gun" except it throws watermelons or dildos or something 'wacky' like that
-SWEPs that only work in TTT
-Weapon Models that authors filed under "Weapons" in the workshop because they like getting comments: "Dos nt shot bullte plz fix"
-Model Hexes, but this sorta gets away with it because sometimes it's nice to just have a model in the workshop without the fuss, but if you actually cared you'd hex it yourself since that takes zero effort whatsoever.
-And potentially Terabytes of dupes that could be made by a restarted monkey overdosing on painkillers and/or involves erotic imagery.
And maybe like 5% of the workshop is original creative content that is actually worth downloading.

Reminds me of the time when a bunch of Traitors called "RDM! :(" when I used logic to conclude that I am the last remaining Innocent vs. 6-7 traitors.
They just came in packs of 1-2 down to this enclosed sewer area to hunt me down with their Radars. But alas, I knew this, I flanked them around the sewers, confusing the Traitors, and slaughtered them all one by one. It was probably the most glorious Innocent round I've ever played.

Did the game mode slay you or an admin? It's not rdm if they were all traders.

Well, they said it was RDM. But I said it was obvious. And when the situation is 1 innocent vs. 6 traitors, there's no use negotiate with the T's and watch as they shoot you in the head.
Except with the last remaining T.. Considering he just watched/heard all of his Traitor buddies die in maze-like sewer to a burned corpse with a MAC10(me).. he kinda accepted his fate too.
But yes, a moderator or an admin slayed me for the next round for managing to kill all the traitors. But it was still amazing, they really took me for a lost sheep.

This is probably considered Meta-Gaming but eh: If you know roughly the percentage of players that will be made Traitor, and you look at how many dead bodies were confirmed/denied traitor, you can figure roughly out how many of the remaining people are traitors.
Example: 100 person server, 10% (Random percent. I have no idea the percentage actually made traitor) are made traitor which means there are 10 traitors. There's 11 people left and you/none of the bodies were traitors, that means they're most likely traitors.
Obviously you won't get a perfect result using this but it can be a good way to estimate how many players are probably traitors out of the remaining players.
It's usually 1:3-4 depending on the server

There was a bit of luck involved too.. But they "suspiciously" came at me in packs of 1-2, pointing their guns around. So, yeah.. I knew they meant business.
But the general tactic would be to basically stay hidden for most of the match. When things go quiet, and suddenly people come knocking on your door and looking for you, chances are that they're there to kill you. And usually you are quite fucked at that point.. But makes for exciting last stands.
Server owners who let certain people do anything because they like them in some way.

How much server diversity has been loss because of GMod 13, you could find some interesting servers before with at least like 10-20 players but now because of the organization of putting the most populated servers at the top means everyone will just go to those so now basically the more populated a server is, the more publicity they get. Always fucking TTT, which I've gotten so bored of, and the only populated ZS server anymore is NoxiousNet and that place is a god awful circlejerk. Also my friend won't stop playing on fucking 420 Servers which is basically a place full of people who would never smoke weed and squeakers and other annoying shit like 500 T items stolen without credit and an annoying HUD and other unnecessary addons.
Problem is in current crappy gmod server/gamemode browser, since it basically "sorts by quantity, not quality".

Sort by quality doesn't quite exist because on the old server browser you would see stuff like "GARRY'S FUCK HOLE", which handed you a nice LUA virus.
At least with the old server browser you got to see some non-ttt-darkrp gamemodes as you looked for generic darkrp though, so it's definitely better.

You think I don't have a job? I earn 10$ an hour and pay the server. My "parent" doesn't pay worth shit, and never will. I see it as a community, set it up as a community, and even try and make it so that even though I currently have 2 mods and don't get enough players, only the douche ones, who RDM then complain, then leave.
I get my name plastered as a "bad owner" who respawns himself as to test something to make the server better.
I even moved the server to the east coast. And still, after seeing that the Europeans are good at not RDMing.
Now, to the point of you saying "customer comes first"
I have not, once, asked for a donation, they do not donate, and I still get enough money afterwords to pay for hosting.
There is not silver plan for my donations, it's all the shit I think is cool, like BlackKnight, Nanosuit Teirs and even added DC and MARVEL models.
I love making this server as fun as possible, and when people try and force people into going onto their website, or force them to sign up for the ability to report a RDM (there are servers who ignore your claims of RDM for the sake of "false RDM")
I don't care if people donate for 5$ Rank.
As long as you donate, I don't care if you are broke poor, as long as you play a game, and mkae people happy, your a donator and a winner.
Just last night, I got 400$ for being there, and making people happy. Responding the players questions.
I have no clue what you are saying about "customer satisfaction" , the customer is sometimes a kid, who in the case of ruining fun, and complaining, a RDMER.
Still, selling Traitor seems to be undermining the gamemode's core mechanics
I personally think it'd cause a bunch of problems. Like, if you buy a traitor round and get RDM'd, what do you do? Especially when T rounds are usually very expensive to prevent spam. Do they get a refund or do you just shrug? What if the RDM is very situational/perspective based?
Just doesn't seem something that would be fun to deal from an admin's view.
