This saddens me. It's like 2/3 of the top rated artwork is stolen, whether it be horribly qif'd version of an SFM scene or just gif'd version of so ancient Gmod video scene even mummies gasp (but there still is an actual, original and non-stolen Gmod artwork, not denying that).
In fact, lemme tell you a little story.
Some time backwards I was browsing Gmod screenshots and artwork because bored. I decided to check the top rated artwork had any fresh stuff, but no. In fact, I was pretty pissed off there was like FOUR submissions of THIS, each of them having so many likes that they formed a nice (and by that I mean horrible) 2x2 square.
Me being too pissed during this moment, I took the situation on my own hands. In the background of the report you can see those four focking gifs.
I'm sorry about the language, even though I switched my Steam language to English, it's still Finnish when I don't use the main Steam app(?).

I feel like I've achieved something.
You know what really gets me.
What really pisses me off. Excuse the language.
DarkRP.
Seriously, the amount of Fail (Trial Moderators) or even some admins I have encountered.
First incident,
I was roleplaying with some guys as Gangsters who took over an abandoned shopping mall as their base and we owned the doors fair and square. Some douchebag decides to bitch about it and say that he cant get in and out of the mall. (That is the whole point of owning turf and creating a base) The admin then says to me: "I will give you 5 seconds to unown the doors or I will ban you".
I then ask him: "How is that even against the rules? "It doesn't say anywhere not to own these doors or this building? I'm not breaking any rules whatsoever." He then bans me for a period of 4 hours.
Second incident happened about an hour ago where me and a whole bunch of other people were playing on the server and I was the mayor. We had built a fence with a fading door around the town hall and were defending it from frequent attacks/raids while also roleplaying and setting laws etc.
This guy just randomly runs up to the fence... Spawns a fence of his own, rotates it to create a ramp and then climbs over our fence and then deletes it. Several people saw it and he even admitted it in the chat and said "It's a flaw in your design". The trial moderator then laughs about it despite everyone complaining and asking him to do something. Yet he never did anything at all. The same guy kept on coming back and prop pushing and breaking NLR several times. Then somehow I get warned for breaking NLR when I got killed down the street. Not anywhere near where I went to.
Then I got warned for breaking NLR again. Same thing. I never even went to the place that I got killed at.
May I also add this same person kept on hiring the hitman to kill me over and over.
The trial moderator also seemed to be friends with the guy who was breaking all these rules and when I said multiple times and other people said multiple times that he was breaking them. He said: "He knows the rules".
Then another guy joins this guy in prop blocking etc and then changes his name to someone elses name so I changed my rp name to his name and then he changed his to mine.
The trial moderator then tries to force me to change my name and then bans me.
Ughh, it's fail moderators/admins and douchebags like that that really piss me off and make DarkRP no longer a joy to play.
If anyone has any good server suggestions... Hit me up.

Funny, people don't say that about my scripts.
When you ask: "Why can donators be trusted?"
They usually respond with: "Because they gave money to the server to support it."
Yeah right. Donators usually donate to a server to gain more power other a normal player.
Donators "donate" to a server to gain perks most of the time, NOT to support it.
And the fact that when you mount Left 4 Dead 2, it's doesn't mount the Left 4 Dead 1 content/maps which is in Left 4 Dead 2.

indeed, some do realize that if they go full retard everybody will leave and they just wasted their money but most seem to be 12 year old sperglets with a huge dose of unwarranted self importance that think they can do as they please because admins are less likely to ban donators

We really need to do something about them, and the fact that they don't really do anything related to the addon.
EDIT
And the fact on darkrp that one hacker caused the admins (that are actually do their job properly) so much trouble since he was spawning glitched money ($-2,241,421). They banned him, he unbanned himself and eventually the server got hacked and went down.

Technically it does, when you spectate someone the script makes you look where they look.
It's practically the most useless aimbot ever :v:
Getting banned from roleplay when roleplaying border patrol: "You can't roleplay racist characters" What? I understand not being racist but roleplay is roleplay
I use to do border and stuff on Fearless because they had most of the coded gangs spawns outside of the city, and you were allowed to outlaw them from coming in:
[t]http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/560941179813292667/9CDB23AF1A34B139D931F459B02E70D68CADE846/[/t]
I am glad to say that I was the only person on Fearless to have balls as a president. Ever since I went King of Czechnya mode for one whole day, they enacted several rules regarding stuff you could do as Police, SS, and President.
In order of what was enacted:
- Police can no longer build checkpoints unless the checkpoint can be breached by a vehicle.
- You may not use tanktraps, carflippers, or other types of anti-vehicle trap.
- The use of detention and holding cells at checkpoints is forbidden.
- Civilians may not work with the government as contracted militiamen (I'll explain this later)
- SS(or SRU, now) may not be used for any "Phoenix Programs" or for infiltration of bases.
- SS may not be renamed to infamous group names like "Gestapo" or "Tiger Force"
- The President cannot legalize money printers, even if for government-sponsored, "Universities for the Study of Video Game Economics" or USVGE.
- Admins are not allowed to aid roleplay situations which involve the lynching of players, forced relocation of certain minority groups, or gas chambers.
- The Government is not allowed to take control of the lake with "Game Wardens" and force people to purchases liscenses, and obey a set limit of bag limits. (This was related to the Fish Market, huehue)
They enacted a lot of bullshit rules, and still have some of them to this day. I also said I'd explain the contracted militiamen thing, so let me explain. In that screenshot I posted, that was actually a trenchline for use against a Corleone-Rebel Union that was hoping to enter the city and attack civilians. We had used some SS guys earlier on in a "Phoenix Program" to infiltrate one of their radio channels, and figure this out, and we used this as propaganda to promote the arming of civilians inside of the city. As the citizens were already allowed to own firearms with 30 Minutes of Service to a government job(even Firefighter/Paramedic), most people came straight to the trenchline armed with AK-47s, AWPs, Tranq Rifles, all sorts of goodies. We actually pulled most of our cop forces back aside from one or two advisers, usually paramedics and firefighters, and generally only had two SS guys and four cops on the government.
With no-need to really deploy Police and SS to the frontline, we sorta fell back, and used them to educate the populace at government-mandated gun ranges on how to safely use firearms. This was also a resounding success... The next thing we did, much to the server owners dismay, was held a university which taught players the harmful effects of having money printers on RP servers, as well as allowed them to use money printers freely and openly so long as it was inside of the Nexus. We literally had zero crime in the city, and most of the "fighting" was hiring teams of militiamen to go cop, and arm them up with M16s to go attack Corleone and Rebel bases across the server.
Because of this, the server actually outlawed most of the things we had done, because even though it created an extremely long lasting peace in the server, the server population on 33x ended up going to V2D, and was trying to implement what we taught on the other server, which this caused a lot of "Czechnynen" or "Hobo" revolutions trying to take control of the server, and implement the same exact government on 33x. You can imagine how that turned out.

Crashes. I've crashed about 7 times this week, usually only once or twice a week. I download something from Workshop. I get about 100-1000 Lua errors, then my Gmod crashed and after 2 minutes, steam crashes. I so want to punch Lua into face.
Load times are so fucking loooong.
Although it might just be because of the addons I have.

For me it used to take over half an hour. After GM13 update it shortened down a lot even though I still have a shitton of addons.
Let me tell you a story of my first experience of HL2RP.
Back in 2010 I believe when I was 14 and just got GMOD I was playing in a clan that had a Fretta server. Our server was not very often populated, and when it was it was just TTT or some other popular stupid "mainstream" gamemode.. Man I miss Fretta... Anyway, With our server being empty I decied to try out some other servers and came across this HL2RP server. I don't remember what it's called anymore and I don't even know if it is still left, which I guess it isn't.
I joined the server and started on some beach and had to put a story for my character. I just wrote some random bullshit such as "being the saviour of earth from the poopoo aliens" and "how he was born in a large house in the south pole with the penguins". As I spawned I saw an another player and he said "follow me" and then he ran towards a large hill. What he didn't know though was that there was a CP guarding on the otherside of the hill and as we all know, CPs are like "mini-admins" in HL2RP and they can do whatever they want or you get banned for FailRP. The CP spotted us both and put us in this large shelf and told us that "if you try to escape I will shoot you!".
I asked why and he just simply stated that "IF YOU DO NOT OBEY I WILL GET AN ADMIN ON U ND BAN U FOR FAILRP!!!!!!!" Of course I saw through that and thought to myself " yeah, sure." So I decied to climb up to the 2nd floor and try to get out through a window shaft with 2 boxes. I was through and decied to run for it. You know, run for freedom! It didn't take long though before an admin showed up and told me all the rules I broke and that if I repeated it I would get banned. So, he took his physgun and put me back in the house.
I was in that house for 20 minutes, 20 FUCKING MINUTES without ANYTHING happening. The other guy that I was with managed to escape into town and live free. The CP that was guarding the place was gone and I decied that I should try escaping again. I repeated what I did before and got out from the shelf. I was out in the free for around 20 seconds before that asshole admin showed up again and said that I was going to get banned for "FailRP" because I didn't obey the CP. I then said I had been in that shelf for 30 minutes and he just said "fuck off poopoo failrper" and then banned me permanently.
My first and last time I ever play HL2RP.
That's pretty much what happened when I played it. I fail to see what people like about it.
Obviously my opinion is unbiased.

Yep. What I don't get is, why the hell is there so much text based gameplay? Example: You say *Officer takes out his gun*. Instead of typing it out, why don't you actually do it? It's not 1980, we have the ability to make things like a scripted items that allows you to have a box and eat it or something. If I wanted to say every single thing I was doing like that, I'd be in my basement with mountain dew and a wizard costume made of dress fabric.
I'm not saying the cod kiddies in DarkRP are any better (No offense FPtje), but at least in there you actually do things other then sit around passive RP'ing in a corner where no one will ever hear you there.

Admins say "PASSIVE RP"
I sit in a corner and do so while the admins are outside having fun with their shootouts and spawning things in to entertain themselves.
The only reason you'd play HL2RP is to bring satisfaction to the admins who fuck around with you.
