So just played darkrp and built a working automatic gunshop, went great until I saw a guy and he opens fire on the store I hid and shot him a few times screaming /cr I AM GETTING ROBBED AT [B]MY STORE[/B]. I died in the fucking end and I yell at a police officer and he says "Well we didn't know were you are" Why the fuck didn't he even bother to ask where I was and how they didn't hear gunshots.

In other sorts of content, I really hate how in the Cinema gamemode, people constantly vote to skip other people's videos so that they can get to their own faster.

I fucking hate it when I'm playing Murder, and I'm finally the murderer after about 2 hours, then I get RDMed by some guy randomly shooting people. It happens everytime.

Banning people who purposefully play outside of the rules of the gamemode is fine. People don't agree with your opinion-- deal with it. They have their opinion, you have yours.

People have the methods to deal with "bad players" in these gamemodes. TTT you have the Karma system which can be set to perma to prevent people from constantly MDM'ing, and in DarkRP you have the Police to arrest and demote systems to remove people from positions of power. All gamemodes have mechanisms to provide the players with the tools to prevent things, it's not like the gamemode developers didn't think about it.

You should only ban for RDM if someone kills like three or five people in a round within a very short time frame. If they don't do that, its just how the game is. I know "la violence gratuit" means "violence for no reason". Gratuit here is a homonym. It both means free (free beer) and "for no reason" Since I saw French people say both "freekill" a lot and (if I remember correctly) "Tue gratuit" (Tue = kill) I thought it was a mistranslation. Active moderation with exercised discretion will always beat out waiting around for every kid and his lil bro to get auto-banned from the server before the next twelve come in. It is rare to see someone who is trying to play, but accidentally making many successive mistakes. From a moderator, those people get as much slack as possible. But the vast, vast majority of people are not simply "bad players", but malicious dicks who have no intention of playing the game properly, and never [B]had[/B] any intention of playing it properly, and are just trying to maximize the giggles they get out of fucking up others' fun. RDM is somewhat of a misnomer because it is rarely "random" in the sense that there is no reason, the reason just generally boils down something half-assed like "because I wanted to, lol". I can tell you from moderating for way too long that trolls, within a round or two, will make it achingly clear whether or not they actually intend on playing the game or just fucking with people.

I always put the karma system in TTT away as annoying, because it's nerfed to a point where you might as well it. I really want a server with this high penalty, perma karma to try it out right now. The same thing is with darkrp. If cops would actually do their job and not just feel cool b/c they got a free gun, there would be no people "roleplaying a serial killer", because you might have to sit in jail for 10 minutes afterwards. Oh and this would also make it possible to roleplay a serial-killer, since you don't get instantly banned for doing it.

Without any squeaker, played for fun and not to do cops&robbers, without any donate4admin, not shutting down after 2 weeks, with a custom and unique experience, using their own content, without any stupid rule. I understand you need donations, but don't make kids get admin. Then, then, I might take a look at your server and maybe stick on it, because it'd be interesting. (I miss BuildRP)

That there is 200 different DarkRP gamemodes that cludder the gamemode list. All they are is a DarkRP with a theme. Yep that needs a new gamemode name to it.
