• Shit that gets you mad in Gmod

Just about everything on Garry's mod now bothers me. I tell myself its because the community got shittier. But the community was always full of trolls. Its possibly because of the fact that I'm older. Although what do you expect, nothing new is brought to the table often enough or at least one thing which is extremely intricate. Gmod still plays the same as it always has. The only thing people can revert to is trolling and the such.
the fact that I had to wait a bit for my favorite TTT server to come back as its the only one I can play on without being RDM'd like everyone else is a traitor.
When legitimate script turn into troll scripts and break your server
Played this song the other night on a DarkRP server, and got accused of promoting anti-community behavior. :| What
Asking money for custom models for gmod is fine. But what urks me is asking money for porting models from other games. Mostly because thet didn't make those models.
Please don't do this
Every 5yr old server owner who tries to abuse you, then bans you when you fight back. At least I got to kill him a few times first :P

This. Even though I put in the description I dont do requests, everyone still requests cars.
Servers crashing because rag dolls spazz out and Garry is too busy with Rust to fix it... Also trails on TTT servers
People kissing your ass just because you are an administrator. Kids who buy their admin powers and abuse it 24/7. Squeakers who cuss all the time thinking they are the shit. Squeakers, lots and lots of squeakers.
So lets talk about Doomforts. In RP gamemodes, we have these massive forts that are used by gangsters, money printers farmers, and otherwise to just promote illegal activities, as well as promote deathmatching in the gamemode. Now in some gamemodes like DarkRP, as a cop, you are given a battering ram. This battering ram tears down props via unfreezing/unwelding them. One thing which has become apparent to me regarding this, is that people get incrediably butthurt when you win against them in a fight, and destroy their base. Crying things like, "MUH BASE" "MUH HARDWORK" "MUH BUILDING" and crying to the admins until it becomes a rule that you may no longer tear down bases or render them inhabitable. This fucking pisses me off. See, common sense would deduct that after having to find reasons for a warrant, getting a warrant from a mayor who constantly questions your activities, ensuring it's within the rule book to do so, and winning the fucking raid... You should be able to do whatever the hell you feel like to that base. This isn't also just because of all the red-tape relating to Police though, no-no. Lets talk about psychology! Imagine you are a criminal, and you see that the Police are tearing down large bases, and causing larger groups to splinter themselves into smaller groups in order to prevent massive financial loss. What this would tell you as a criminal is that you shouldn't make a gigantic base, because it makes you a massive target, it promotes RDM around your house, and in the worst case scenario... All your hardwork will be lost to a police raid. For some reason though, admins and server owners are extremely upset about cops adopting this tactic because they don't see it's legitimate purposes outside of "OMG MINGEY COPS DESTROYING BASES" so they start banning and blacklisting players for simply doing their jobs the correct way, and keeping the server/streets safe. Good job.
Dark Roleplay. There are so many problems that I need to list... • The Gamemode is Focused around Contraband & Cops vs. Robbers Whether this was intentional or not doesn't really matter. It's what the gamemode is now and it will probably be staying this way. But this isn't really what the problem is, it seems DarkRP server owners can't handle that the gamemode is designed to NOT be serious and is based around Contraband, Cops and Thugs. But instead of adapting to what the gamemode is, they enforce more then a enough rules to shape a fun gamemode into a semi-serious/serious one. Listen server owners, DarkRP isn't serious, it will never be serious, so stop trying to make it serious. • 80% of servers have "Donator"/V.I.P/Respected elitism It's not just DarkRP being effected by this, in seems to effect every-single game with modifiable multiplayer. Whether it be from exclusive classes, to admin powers, elitism is very high in DarkRP. Unless you started on the very first day, almost all Veterans or "Donators" of the Server will have more money. Servers don't reset money beacause it would "Upset the people who worked hard (Contra-Farming and "Donating" to server.) to earn the money.". Servers would be a lot better if money was reset regularly so everyone can have a fair go. There is also perks that only the "Donators"/V.I.P./Respects get which intimidate players to "Donate" or stay on the server. • Roleplay is limited by what the server owner tells you to do Whether it by from 200 restrictive rules to admin controlled events, on DarkRP you have no freedom. Want to build a car out of props? Sorry, that's banned. Want to decorate the street as Citizen? Sorry, only Hobos can do that. Want to roleplay a zombie upraise? Sorry, only admins control that. Want to raid a building for a being suspected of drug farming? Sorry, that's not a valid reason. Want to be a S.W.A.T member? Sorry, only "Donators" can do that. I wish someone would create a gamemode were you could roleplay freely. I'd love to run a furniture shop, but people call me stupid for selling props they can magically spawn. I try to roleplay my healing, but they just run away and call me a noob. I try to fine people for breaking windows, but it turns out there needs to be a law.
CloudSixteen team There is already backdoors in his f***ing module.
Hasn't there been for a long time?
DarkRP addons that clog up the actually good content.
Subject: All of your support is appreciated & needed From: admin@hellzoneclan.com Dear true to heart HZ members and supporters We are going through a lot together here as well as my own issues with family. With a ton of you still here today giving us support we still need help. Your positive attitude has had a terrific influence on the way the entire staff is viewing our restructure. We also need money as server costs and paying for IP. Your effort continues to help things run smoothly, We all really appreciate your support and I sure will. You and I can't let this all go to waste. Please any money you can help with to not only keep us alive. But I also need a little to possibly move to east coast to be with dying family members. Moving is across USA not cheap, Gas alone is expensive I will need to come up with a few thousand dollars to help move. I will rent a truck and a car tow to tow car and my stuff back to New England. I can also show estimates on the costs. Thanks to all of you for any support you have shown. Killslick
Catch me if I am wrong, but doesn't Killslick live on the East Coast already...? :|
Catch me if I'm wrong, but don't these servers already have thousands stored up in their bank accounts?
Catch me if I'm wrong, but don't these servers already have thousands stored up in their bank accounts?
Well it must of been blown on furry yiffers. Gotta keep admin dissidence low ya know.
Garry breaking stuff everytime he tries to fix something.
Garry breaking stuff everytime he tries to fix something.
you should blame _Kilburn for this one
Yeah but Garry removed Multicore rendering in GMOD 13 to "fix" crashes and just made everyone FPS go lower than ever. At least this one doesn´t breaks everything.
I think it's about time I mention something that's pissing me off, not because it's IN gmod (It's outside it), rather it's keeping me from playing Gmod. This. This fucking little bitch is the most irritating thing since making a goddamn bowl of cereal only to find out while pouring the milk that the milk went bad. It's the only way to update GMOD for me because the downloads page is broken as fuck and thinks all my games that need updates are fully updated when they're not. The worst part is it constantly says 0 seconds left no matter what. It literally takes ~5 hours for a flipping 20mb update.

I honestly hate how Jailbreak is now. This isn't the Jailbreak I knew and loved. This however is And Jailbreak now? Just shitty Jail RP run by kids.
You realize that the Jailbreak right now comes from CS Source right? Not UT2004 I don't know where the CSS version of jailbreak comes from but I'm pretty sure it's not from UT2004. These two gamemodes/mods are completely different from one another. From what you've shown me, the Jailbreak in UT2004 looks more like the classic game of jailbreak, where the there are two teams and each time someone is killed they go into the opposing team jail. The Jailbreak right now is completely different. There are two teams, the guards and the prisoners. The prisoners start off in jail cells and try to kill all the guards by escaping or trickery. The guards start outside and try to kill all the prisoners by using trickery to trick the prisoners into doing something against the rules created by the guards. I really really don't think the Jailbreak right now was EVER supposed to be like the jailbreak from UT2004, so I don't know why you expected it to be.

Either way, one has died and the other took it's place, as well as the name. And I have a feeling classic Jailbreak will never come back, as people will think it's a shitty copy of the current Jailbreak.
I'll never understand why admins find it their business to interfere with things. "Why did you demote that guy for random demote? why not call an admin?" Because I can demote him, and obviously people will demote regardless of what the reason is. It solves the problem without the need for an hour long admin sit. Seriously admins, stop interfering with things if they have already been dealt with.
