I need to get in there again so I can mess more with its wiremod-alternative, C.O.C.K., which quite frankly is an amazing system to use. It can interface with gmod's vanilla entities. Unlike, wiremod, you can say, use dynamite with the system instead of having a separate explosive tool like wire explosives. Or you can rig an explosive internal prop to a pressure plate as a trap.
Not to mention the fact that you can have the admins use the buttrape SWEP on you.
God, I had more fun on that server in one hour than I've had in any other server in a week. And it's always closed.

I was playing Trouble in Terrorist Town and the admin (He was someone who bought admin for your information) decided to have a "Quite" round by muting (not gagging) all the players. No one could call out for a traitor unless you had a mic and he wouldn't listen if you tryed to contact him about it in @ chat. What was even stupider is that all the players with a mic agreed it was quiter without people chatting.

M9K shotguns. They're ridiculously overpowered. Each pellet has no spread, rather it's just offset by a few inches from the other one to have the illusion of doing what a shotgun does. As a result you can snipe people across the map as pellets don't lose damage over range and are 100% accurate.

- When people think it's funny to steal your cars when noclip is disabled.
- When people run up to your house and shoot you through the windows saying it was a raid.
- When someone joins with a name consisting of Fluttershy or [ANTI-BRONY/BRONY]. Also when people ask what your favorite pony is.
- When fucking medics run around participating in raids even though the rules specifically list jobs that cannot raid.

That isn't RP, this is you (with the exception of the brony stuff) complaining about things which eventually causes stagnation.
However this bug with the server has to end, at this rate we're launching an EU server just to try and get players.

What really annoys me to no end is servers that are so restricted in tool usage, that its impossible to do anything fun. Please note: I am not a minge. I do not mean stuff like dynamite, or even duplicator. If duplicator is blocked, but Adv dupe is available, I am fine. However, when stuff like parenting tools are blocked or simply missing, I get annoyed. That, and when a server is totally vanilla. Sadly, I have run into that a lot lately.

ttt has all sorts of other things which make it great - multiple traitors, the store, the fact that everyone gets a gun rather than the person who gets the lucky roll, detectives and so on.
murder is very, very basic and there's not even a lot of strategy. If you're the murderer, kill everyone. If you're a bystander, run away from the guy holding the knife. If you're the bystander with the gun, shoot the guy with the knife. There's no reason to do anything besides these things. There's no clues to follow. Nothing.

It sounds pretty stupid. I have only played TTT once or twice and I don't really understand the fun in it. I'm not one of those people who doesn't play some games just because I don't get them though...
Come to think about servers, it's kind of hard for me to remember the last time I've been on one. I prefer to build in single player because of all the trolls/kids/dicks who come on build servers and do nothing but prop slam and prop push, shit that just irritates the people trying to legitimately build. Also, it's far less laggy and you don't have to worry about having to deal with addons and errors and shit that you don't have.
I really only go online when I am finished with a contraption and I want to see how it will handle on a server or when I just want to show off stuff that I have built. It's just far less bullshit to deal with rather than building a robot or a mech o something that takes one hell of a long time to build, and then some kid gets pissed off and crashes the server because someone derailed his train that he got from garrysmod.org
In one of the early versions of Murder, instead of everyone having a random name, they were all called Bystander and you had to go off the colours of the player. I personally thought that was a lot more fun/interesting than the unique names thing because then it essentially does just become simplified TTT like people here said.
I do agree though however that it's only popular due to Youtubers.
People who only join sandbox servers to play with public workshop shit, and then get mad, call your server shit and leave when they get told to go build their own stuff, or find that they can't spawn public dupes at all.
I just had someone tell me "go fuck yourself this i why your server is empty" (sic) because I cleaned up his props when he spawned a public dupe and told him to go build something himself. Server this happened on doesn't have the restriction in place yet.
No, the server is "empty"* because people like you are too damn lazy to actually put your mind to use and actually be creative and play the damn gamemode like it's supposed to be played. Instead you just want to play with laggy clusterfucks of poorly welded props that other people already made.
*It was only empty because the majority of the players who play there were either at school or work, or not even awake yet. It was 9 in the damn morning.
