Whenever I try to teach people how to build on DarkRP, I have the usual "building gurus" come up and start shit. Sometimes even killing me for simply, "RUINING THE SERVER" :|
Somewhat related to building on darkrp, fuck the "only hobos can build in the streets". I was playing a pet, which was a headcrab, and I decided to make a kind of headcrab nest in an alleyway and it was sick as hell. And without even asking me I caught an admin deleting shit with the remove tool.
Best part was it was a paid admin, and a higher up admin had complemented the base before.
Oh fuck, do not even get me started on admins who treat their rule list as some sort of word of god that needs to be obeyed without any discretion. I remember playing on an HL2RP server, wasn't doing anything wrong, and had one prop slightly poking out from my doughnut shop, and I got bitched at for not building only in my house.
We are literally talking about nothing short of a few cm's jutting outward in a very open street/sidewalk.

(Very game-breaking and confusing)
-Jump Packs and all that shit that allows people to disregard falling damage completely, and to glide across the maps with with "low-grav" jumping.
(SPIDER-MAN Gun also contributes to this terribleness)
-Admins who care more about leading the scoreboard themselves rather than ensuring that every noob on their server is enjoying their time as well.
(Example: A Noob asks how to access the Pointshop. Admin tells press F3. Then the admin goes for an easy kill while the noob is occupied with the Pointshop.)
It's just so ridiculous. If I got myself a jump pack, a shrunken player model and all that jazz each time, then I would dominate the server scoreboards even more.
I always just prefer to lead the scoreboard over those who utilize all of these lame-ass, game-breaking, over-powered piece of shit weapons and stuff, it's more satisfying than anything.

Detective is really hard to play though; I can't seem to be standing still for even a second without taking a bullet to the head. Makes it hard to buy important equipment and the like.
