- Trying to download something in Workshop not only crashing the game, but Steam as well. (Can this be fixed?) - Custom anything that isn't a map causing a HL2.exe crash. (Ragdolls, custom props, etc.) - Massive FPS loss on maps that didn't have the problem before. (Case in point, DM_Richland. Had no FPS problems with this map with Gmod 12, suddenly have problems with 13.) - The fact that Garry refuses to fix any of these problems. (Aside from the Workshop problem that is. Everything else could be fixed.)

Prop blockers and trolls who get me banned. I was on one server and some troll got me banned even though 3 admins seen me doing NOTHING. One of the admins added me later and said "Sorry for banning you, bro!" I got back on and had NONE of my stats I had before being banned. >_>

ANOTHER ONE TO ADD TO MY LIST! Servers with the rule- No porn, hentai and etc. (Cinema gamemode) Went into a public theater I requested a video but before it was played, Hardcore kangaroo porn was showing. :suicide:

Only time 12 misbehaved was when Valve did a Source update that broke Gmod for a bit. No FPS loss, no semi-constant hl2.exe crashes, no game freezing up when I'm trying to use an addon. 13 is more broken than a politician, and Garry really needs to fix it.

Ok I'm back. -When PewDiePie/Yogscast make GMod videos. It gets on my nerves because they're usually seeking video views and they aren't on the server for fun. -People coming onto my favourite [B]DEATHMINGE[/B] server or any server where killing is legal (e.g Build to Kill) and shouting "STOP RDMING FAGET" or "STOP KILLING ME!!!!111one" over mic. Usually it's a 6-year old. -"His prop/chair is lagging the server!!" when everybody's ping is low and you are getting a decent framerate. Mind you I think someone mentioned that once here. -The need for more TTT/DarkRP. Why? -Bad Speeleng and GrammAr. I hate it. -People who give you all kinds of shit just because you have a bad computer. I'll be back...

When admins don't do shit. Had some furry join the server "Xx_<3Whitewolf<3!Xx joined the game." Started aimbotting, prop pushing, had the most annoying voice I've ever heard. Two admins on the server and they never did anything. Maybe he was their friend, I don't know. Luckily Garry's Mod is actually enforcing on hacking, no more aimbot! :v: Edit: Another thing, when servers have [B]"Donate for admin"[/B] features. Or "donate and get this really cool SMG with a silencer and a[B][I] laser![/I][/B]", "How about this really cool job?" trying to suck the dicks of people who will throw money wherever, eventually there's always a handful of admins that donate and are 10 years old who abuse.

Another thing: When DarkRP servers have WolfDJ. I want to blow my brains out when I see this. Also, when people ruin the mood entirely on a DarkRP server by minging.

I'll add to the various other posts and also say that DarkRP paid admins make me mad. I mean seriously, do these people get off over their own power or something? I'm a fan of DarkRP despite the hate for it here, I enjoy hopping on and having a bit of a casual experience. So I'm running a Gun Store and it is all going well, I met a friendly guard and I was enjoying it. The server said it was supporting the idea of FearRP so I held my gun to them as they attempted to enter unarmed, they walked past me regardless and attempted to crack my keypads. So I shot them dead. "Wow, nice RDM!" followed by his immediate respawn next to me. "You didn't even say anything". Do I need to? Really? You're trying to steal my things. I told him he was an idiot over mic as is the standard and I was sent to the 'You are being banned' screen. Where he took so long to type out the damn message I asked in /ooc why he was taking so long and even when it was done it had multiple spelling mistakes. Another annoying thing is how servers who use that ban-screen like to cause me extra hassle after a ban. Seeing as the game completely freezes, it doesn't kick me off the server or anything. It just leaves me hanging in a scary limbo. I have to alt+tab to close the game and relaunch it to join again.

The absurd amount of HL2RP servers, when only 10% of them are actually played on.

Shit that gets me mad: -Team Fortress 2 map list disappearing any time I download a new workshop add-on, forcing me to delete everything in the addon folder just to have it appear again, making the game have to install every single damn add-on I installed. -Anyone trying to shove anything I hate down my throat. -Whenever a friend invites me to play with them while I am making a pose or scenebuild. -Whenever a friend just asks me what I'm doing the second I load up Garrys Mod. -Prepubescent young brats doing annoying shit. (Attempting to crash servers, asking for admin, etc.) -Badmins. -Ability to buy or earn admin. (ADMIN IS FOR ENFORCING RULES, NOT FOR SPECIAL PRIVILEGES YOU DUMBFUCKS) -Sex poses. -Mic spamming. (Thank GOD for the mute button.) -People destroying props for contraptions you're making. I don't join sandbox servers anymore for that reason. -Lack of realistic non-jumpsuit clothing for citizen models. -Three-fourths of the GMOD community. Finally, got all of that off out of my head.

Baaaaack... -When a friend asks me, usually in a pretty hectic game, "do you want a tf2 hat?" or "plz plz accept my tf2 hat" or some shit. It gets on my nerves and shows just how annoying and/or immature they are. -"Disconnect: [YOU] timed out". -Pay for admin. As the user above me said, admin is for enforcing server rules, not a donator perk. -Donator perks in general. -Annoying friends saying "play [RP/TTT] with meh plz". -Micspammers -NLR and other stupid Serious DRP rules like FearRP I... will... return...

NLR is one of the best rules for RP, wtf? It discourages constant RDM'ing and stuff. How would it be realistic if you kill somebody and they show back up on your doorstep 3 minutes later.

It's impossible to enforce, it brings up ridiculous restrictions such as, 'You can't enter this area for 15 minutes', and its only enforced when someone doesn't like something that you do. This also doesn't include the fact that you don't lose everything upon death[money/job/all that], and therefore the entire purpose/existence of such a rule is illogical. Every rule[aside from hacking/glitching rules] is completely pointless, considering it's generally lazy development to put up rules instead of fixing things.

Then what do you suggest? If there isn't NLR players are free to revenge kill each other non-stop. NLR, when done correctly is very effective. 15 minutes is a bit extensive, maybe 5 minutes? Say a thief is trying to break into your base, if you kill him and there is no NLR he is free to come back and you just have to keep killing him over and over again (Not very RP if you ask me) with NLR you have time to hide your stuff again or inform Civil Protection. NLR is one of the best rules RP has. [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] and it's simple to enforce, you teleport the player to you and explain NLR to him and if he repeats you kick him, pretty simple. I admin an RP server and every player respects it. Guess you just play with shitty pay for admin guys.

I'm all around against rules, so a complete removal of them and looking at the game and asking, 'whats wrong, what can we fix' is my solution, but... The problem I find quiet often is were fighting an uphill battle with how the gamemodes are played out. Right now, almost every roleplay gamemode is under a system of constant violence. The only form of money production in these gamemodes is based on contrafarming[moneyprinters/drugs], which act as a double standard by being the only form of true money production, and at the same time being generally illegal via permanent law. This system alone causes constant deathmatch/fighting over simply the right to make money. If you wish to stop this you've also gotta attack another key-ground... F2/F4 Menus being used for production/manufacturing of items. This system allows players to farm up a few money printers and go around shooting things with infinitie guns and ammo. Get rid of that. Make RP scripts based on something like Stranded/Winter Survival rather then sandbox. This would make it so players have to manufacture/produce everything, and therefore will have a greater understanding of value/community. Dieing will actually mean something if you've been alive for longer then an hour. That would also eliminate any need for rules relating to NLR, RDM, and otherwise. You'll lose everything on death, and even if you go back, you've gotta start fresh.

Arc, NLR is shit because, as Joe said, it brings up ridiculous restrictions, it's impossible to fully enforce, people keep breaking it and it adds a pointless 'consequence' to something which wasn't intended to have death consequences in the first place (e.g no loss of posessions, permadeath etc.). This rule as well as other shitty rules is one of the many reasons why i steer clear of SeriousRP and the many boring dicks who frequent it.
