You can still move around while you have the equipment-window open, same goes for Pointshop. And it's essential for the Detective to be good at handling DNA scanner and other item-slots, and so on.. But yeah no kidding.. Detectives are like magnets. Watch out for anyone following you into secluded areas, especially in the round beginning when setting a teleporter somewhere. 1-hit knife is a nasty way to go.
But then again, Detectives have a special little authoritative power if you know how to use it, and it [i]should[/i] not count as RDM, for example:
When someone agrees to test, by saying "run straight into the tester" technically allows you to shoot them if they stop at any moment and turn to you, because there is no reason for them to do that unless they are the traitor.
Or if they ask you to "wait a sec" while pointing their gun at you, you know they ain't there to test themselves.

I think darkrp should just full on embrace the gang war stuff, allowing for either side to destroy the other temporarily, something like that. And allowing wars to be declared.

On mac it works differently; alt tabbing in full screen happens instantly with no delay and it never does the hacky window shit
