Shit that gets you mad in Gmod - Garry's Mod

Most DarkRP communities, especially when it turns into a circlejerk about the admins and how they're soo great.

bfg when have i EVER gotten mad at you let alone been unreasonable last time i quit the server was crashing every hour and you guys kept adding stuff i never once got to the point i needed to calm down i respected you now i dont you let land/awc do all this because why i killed him three times and put him in mingescrubs after he banned me 5 times and then he banned me 3 more added a kickscript targeting me broke the server and told millinon i had to aplogize or he wouldnt fix it this all is just childish that you cant see anything he does wrong i get that you respect him i did aswell no more though hes a child a raging toddler im dropping this now i wont respond to you on this subject any further you know what he did and why im no longer even playing gmod for a while its just gotten to a point i dont like

You can't criticise a server if you can't make one yourself. You can't criticise a restaurant's food if you don't know how to cook You can't criticise any software if you can't make it yourself You can't criticise Christianity if you're not a christian You're frustrated by the fact that people in your server express their opinions about it. Really you should embrace criticism and judge by the arguments and not by the person. Of course much of the criticism can be disregarded, but shitty ideas should he disregarded for being shitty ideas, not for being vocalised by an idiot. Even an idiot could have a decent idea every once in a (long) while. Besides, people like the server enough to keep playing it. They just want it to be even better. Maybe they have the best intentions with their ideas, even if they are perhaps blunt in the communication of them. Disregarding their ideas like that would be very mean.

It's only called a "Donation" because "buying" things like VIP would require them to list it as income on their tax documents. If they don't, then the IRS can tear them a new one. It makes it a lot simpler just to call it a donation, and for them to give you VIP as a thank you gift. Also, I don't see a problem with it. Nobody forces anyone to donate. I donate for the benefits, or to support smaller communities which I think have done an excellent job. They put up and run the server, deal with the stress of running a community, and I don't mind showing my appreciation for doing that so I can have a good time.

In the US, any money that you make (even if you call it a donation) must be reported to the IRS. The only way that you'll get out of paying taxes for donations is if you register and maintain a non-profit. Also, I'm fairly certain that the only legitimate reason behind calling it a donation is that you are not obliged to actually provide anything in return, which is a major boon in terms of liability.
