Shit that gets you mad in Gmod - Garry's Mod

There is this guy on steam that calls me faggot on my profile I delete his comments and block him I have no idea what he has against me. Fuck him >:|

Hi, I have not registered before. I hope all you people aren't as scary as it seems from the threads I already read. (Please forgive the bad grammar mistakes; I'm not very smart.) Anyways, for angry mad things (which all may been mentioned in the pages before, but I don't have a good short-term memory): -- When big contraptions began to go crazy and spazz everywhere and then you die because it hits you. (This taught me to always turn on sv_cheats and god before starting build something). -- When addons have requirements and do not mention that, and you are left with error models and checkerboard texture everywhere. -- Many addons breaking in Garry's Mod 13. Garry's Mod 13 is a good update, mostly, but I wish there was a legacy mode for the scripts, to make them work. -- Mean people on multiplayer. I stay in single-player for a reason. -- When I try to search addon, but get many crappy duplications and saves and cannot find anything useful there, and sometimes if you checkbox the "addons" you miss good things. -- A lot of people on Workshop seem to have a thing for sexposes, as an asexual I guess I can't understand this, but its kind of amusing and a little disturbing. -- Setting up big NPC battles, only to have them start running around all over the map or ignore each other. I guess the maps are not noded properly. -- People making big deals about things they don't like and claiming they ruined GMod. I mean I don't interest in things like Wiremod or DarkRP but I don't see the point in wasting energy being angry about it. That was longer post than I really expect.

Precision stool not lining up like I want it to. I usually stay in single player to avoid most other problems. People in general just seem to make me angry most of the time.

All the perp versions. Duplicate perp categories. Fake game mode names. Darkrp Very few original game modes due to coders deciding they are too good for garrys mod 13. Shitty communities. Seeing a falsely named clockwork rp schema: the condemned II survival-horror....has nothing to do with survival or horror, it just has a shit load of post proesscing and dof that lags the fuck out of my hd7850.

There's no way Garry's Mod could drop that down to under 60fps at 1080p without actually trying to do so. Turn off post processing or HDR in the graphics options, as it might be a card error of some kind. You should have zero problems maxing the game out.

The bug where the HUD disappears makes me mad. Especially because it happens to me a lot :( And also the people asking me on Steam if I can port their stolen PERP from Garr's Mod 12 to Garry's Mod 13.

Here are a few more things. -- Glitchy maps. I have fallen under the map, gotten trapped in the skybox (this partially my fault... I was playing with a grappling hook SWEP, though that did not explain many other bugs), [i]accidentally set the entire map on fire[/i], fallen into this weird place where the graphics look trippy, and ... many other things. If there glitch in the map I probably make find it. -- In some maps (there's one in particular, which I can't recall the name of), random enemy NPCs hidden in weird places. I don't like surprises. -- When things fall over and you can't get them back upright. -- Posing, sometimes, but this has been made considerably easier by a "stand upright" stool I found on the workshop, so I would make recommend for that. -- As mentioned a few posts up, the HUD disappearing bug. It can be a pain to type in "cl_drawhud 1" multiple times (I did bind it to a key, but it didn't do anything, and I don't know why). -- Very few maps are Strider-noded, and I like Striders.

Quit ddosing servers because they're better than yours.

Getting ddosd when you ban someone from a server.

Personally I believe that DDoS'ing a server for getting banned, even if you were banned stupidly, is just stupid. And if you were banned stupidly it just makes you not much better than the ban admin.

Especially when they threaten to DDoS the server if you don't give them what they want. I just usually ban them anyways and laugh as whatever attempt they make is mostly filtered. Even though most of them are just talking out of their ass.

Some Myg0t guys were DDosing the free server me and hybrid got for free and they were like "YOU MAD BRO" and we were just like not really the server is 4 days old and all and it was free, should be up soon anyways. They then continued to invite friends into the steam chat and the conversation just kept rolling, it was ridiculous yet hilarious but also sad.

Although; check to see if the CSS weapons (M4A1, P90, etc) work; we've gone back to using CSS reskins because CSS was having trouble mounting on the server; Freezebug said he'd fix the CSS models soon but I don't know if he has. On Topic: I was trying a new gamemode, DarkDM (which is actually more like DarkRP with Gang fights and territories) and it was pretty minge free until somebody found a way around the propblock prevention system and blocked the safe zone. So when I was running away from a gunfight I was losing, I was met with a gigantic fucking wall of metal doors. Now, this server has a script which destroys any props that get a certain distance to the spawn, but this guy got around it by just building bigger and farther from the safezone. TL;DR people who circumvent the rules

The forums are back but the links are gone. I was trying to upload the model packs to workshop but since FackPunch Studios is stupid and made the workshop uploader draw text using DX9, I wasn't even able to type a name and desc, let alone upload it (I currently only have my mac partition at my disposal) Add that to the fact that most of our original devs are either moved on to other coding, busy or being prosecuted by Garry, so atm we only have one and a half devs working to fix the server, leaving not much time to worry about the model packs. The original coder of Armaments wanted to upload them but he's afraid to because "You're not allowed to upload addons in multiple parts" even though people like Siminov do it and it doesn't even count as multiple part addons since its just 6 model packs In short we're a little fucked at this point because no one but me wants to take the initiative to upload the model packs and I can't because Garry is gay. :o that's another thing to add to shit that gets me mad in Gmod :o

Finding someone on a normal gamemode (DarkRP, PERP, those other RPs. I love see those raging kids.) which says "WHER EI GET GUNZ?!!".
