What gets me mad, well... Simple! To see how more and more people play ALL gamemodes BUT the one GMod was originally made and intended for. To see how models and sweps and TTT maps are higher ranked on workshop/gmod.org than tools or addons like SProps. Little freaking 11-13yo russian kids not being able to speak english. Everytime I see them, I feel sorry for every russian that can behave and use his brain when joining a server...

People who don't speak english and still use their microphones in a server filled with only english people except them.

Cinema servers: A great idea, but too often a poor reality. I could easily create an entire wall of text about the horrible state of the public theaters, and even then I still could not articulate how awful they are. My biggest qualm is not so much about the crap content shown, but the fact that the system in place allows for the crap content to be so frequently shown. The idea of being able to upvote or downvote a video in the queue is such a piss poor idea. Garbage can often be brought to the top of the queue by means of a group of people taking advantage of an uncaring (and unwilling to vote) group of viewers by upvoting said garbage (and downvoting everything else). Or, when everything inevitably gets a -1 or lesser vote, you can always wait until a video is about to end, then queue your video as the playing video ends and +1 your own video. Bam, to to the top of the queue with your video. That is the biggest problem, take care of that and I guarantee that public theaters become more tolerable. Ah, and for the love the God; don't allow people to individually queue like a dozen videos at once, have a limit of 2-3 within the queue at one time per person. A congested queue of bullshit further convolutes the already existing clusterfuck of an upvoting/downvoting system. Overall public theaters suck, the only OK democratic feature being the ability to vote to skip a video. Aside from that, I would not advise visiting a public theater unless you have a lot of patience, because believe me; it will take a lot of patience to find a tolerable public community. Cinema is best for its private theaters, which can cater to specific groups of people. At the end of the day we all have different opinions and tastes. I respect differing opinions, but I fear fear that mine are not compatible with a community that is interested in spamming the same Shrek videos frequently each day. I could create another post composed entirely of the trends which plague the videos posted, but at the end of the day such a thing is simply my taste. If people are content to watch "Idiots of Gmod" for the umpteenth time then so be it, that just isn't for me.

- Dupes or addons that require obscure or very hard-to-find model packs - Game freezing whenever I attempt to change graphics settings - Being unable to look for dupes without finding "le epik kar", "kasumi sexi pos", or five-thousand-part destructible bases - Ming- err... kiddos interfering with your buildings or contraptions (Although it is hilarious if the building in question is supposed to be a trap) - PropHunt maps with microscopic props - Paid admin - Donator perks - Lag, especially when it's caused by spammers - Servers that disable the toolgun or physgun

Question, I know it might be out of place but I gotta ask, any good HL2:RP servers out there? I'd just like one where i'm not restricted completely and one that actually allows some OOC freedom.

I've been in the Half Life 2 Roleplay 'community' for almost two years now and the quality of servers have diminished a LOT. My bud Monkah attempted to fix this by opening up a server with a higher quality, but of course nothing came of it because bad servers get more players than quality ones. It's a sad circle, but I can assure you finding even a DECENT HL2RP is nearly impossible. Sorry, man.

When I join a server and it takes 10 minutes to DL shit, and when you get into the game you see ERROR everywhere.

Sorry, man.[/QUOTE] Hell, I've been looking at serious RP servers since 2009 and back then HL2RP was way more fun. These days it's just restrictive as all hell.

So me and several others were jumping cars in DarkRP on the streets on a track. Someone got pissed for some reason and bugged a admin that was trying to sleep to have several players get banned for 4 days because they were building in the streets for the track and a bit driven by Car DeathMatching (all accidental) while me and someone else got bitched at. gg person who hates fun. I was playing as a police officer on Fearless and saw a propclimber. I tazed him so he fell off his prop and was unconscious. I then proceeded to handcuff him. I warranted him for propclimbing and then arrested him. The next day, I was banned for "backseat administrating" for arresting someone that was propclimbing.

When the mapvote appears and you click a map on accident and within two seconds, everyone else is voting that map as well, even if it's terrible or you have no idea what it actually is I swear, when it comes to voting, the average gmod user either picks what other people are or whatever's closest to something they recognize, i.e Mario, Minecraft maps, etc

I've veen there and it's so much fun.[/QUOTE] I've got to agree with you, Recently I've been become the developer of this 1 community that just moved to Gmod and there is like 30 people regularly on the team speak and so I brought up a TTT Server on the dedi and there all going around crazy on TTT like OMG WHAT DO IT DO, I added a headcrab launcher and I killed about 4 people and when the headcrabs went out there like, THE ALIENS ARE COMING TO KILL US HELP ME!!!!! It was funny as fuck.

I wish there were more classic zombie survival servers, since it gets dull having to hole up inside a barricade for half an hour while the rest of the eggheads in said barricade hasn't bought an arsenal crate. Seriously, fuck the arsenal crates.
