What's the best roleplay gamemode for Garry's Mod?

Fallout role play or apocalypse imo.
Anything you want to use. Seriously, don't rely on FP telling you what the best RP gamemode is. Find out for yourself.
I just don't understand how killing one person you don't like is RDM. I would expect RDM to be killing everyone guns blazing.

You're killing the person for OOC reasons, and you're most likely not roleplaying the killing out. If you just walk up to some guy and shoot him because you don't like him, it's RDM. If you however had a valid IC reason to want to kill this guy, and roleplay out you shooting him (giving him some time to react and such), it's not RDM.

I love DarkRP, only reason though is because I rarely roleplay and shit like that. It's fun to go into a gun store and fuck everything up, you know warrant the person and break all their props for "illegal gun selling". Other stuff like robbing people (anyone you see on the streets). When I do it, it's like "Gimme ur muhfucken bills 3.2.1. boom u dead nigs" then they like RDMMMMMM then i like nuhuhhhhh
Seriously though, there's only so many server you can get banned from. Most of them don't even perma even.
I enjoy both DarkRP and HL2RP. It's very hard to find a good DarkRP server where people are actually role playing. This is why HL2RP is probably my top favorite just because you can actually find decent role players.

As long as Facepunch is around, there will always be people asking this question. As soon as the question is asked, it will start with a couple of people naming a few gamemodes and some saying that RP sucks, and then eventually someone will mention OA/CW and the thread will derail into a massive "CW/C16/CONNA SUX U GUIZ". This is the circle of RP gamemodes.
Seeing if that is the case, could a mod lock/remove this thread?
Why did people rate this topic dumb? Most people might not like RP but how does that make it dumb that someone else does?

RPG gamemodes are better than RP ones.
the quality of an RP server is defined by its community
right now the general playerbase on RP servers is absolute garbage and thus so are those servers
The only time I remember actually having some decent role-playing in Garry's Mod was when the Combine Control servers were still up.

around january there was an american rp server started by a crew of older players (the entire playerbase was 16+, squeakers were banned on sight), that was the only time since 2010 i've seen actually good fun roleplay happening on a darkrp server

I'm trying to make a successor that builds upon CombineControl's ideals. Anything specific that made it "some decent role-playing"?
