maybe you can bypass his file rewriting by making ur cfg and data folder as read-only, i dont think that he will be able to rewrite it if ur folders are selected as read-only
unknowing people.... it doesn't rewrite shit, it replaces it, makes a whole new one
I have a degree in computer science, and I confirm that the word "heuristics" is used correctly :v:. Not that my degree is needed, it can be checked online.
-snipped- I'll spare you humilitation.
-snipped- I'll save you humilitation.
You snipped it because you knew it was the kind of comment that can get someone banned. You linked to this thread saying that my degree didn't help me when I was inherently stupid. Then you said you removed me from friends because you expected that that was what I would do immediately after seeing your post. You also linked to some twitter status. I lost the quote in a refresh, but I'm sure a mod can verify this if needed.

*reaches over for popcorn*
There were 2 reasons then - but you are really pulling my strings the way you act.
I really did lose my patience in our conversation. While it's no excuse, I reckon it's the stress of a deadline next friday causing me to behave like this. Sorry for that. That said, your previous post, even when snipped, is unacceptable.
*reaches over for popcorn*
No popcorn is needed, I'm quite sure he knows what I mean and let's end it at that. wow dont mind hex, lets see this go down now
All of this information is outdated. People can still create dll files and load them at will with new exploits if they find them, you don't have to rely on one specific thing. Hex will ban you for even having something that mentions the word hack in your lua folder, along with some other words. Your config will be fucked up if you have cvar3 (and maybe if you don't, I don't care enough to look). He will ban you for having ANY files that start with gmcl_ in your lua/bin folder and will steal them. He is extremely malicious especially when it comes to file stealers. He will go as far as to load a file named "../../../../../../../../../system32/ntoskrnl.exe" and it will overwrite the file if you have a bad file stealer. This will effectively destroy a windows install. Hex is also an immature/having no moral person. He will do anything to your install if he even thinks you hack. He will destroy your install, install malware/persistent scripts, mess up your gmod install in the steam cloud, remove and destroy your files, and even run malicious dlls on your computer without your consent. When I thought he was my friend (when he was just using me to get my bad lua hack) he was talking to me about making a dll to call windows api functions to severely break your computer and bluescreen it. He may have been like that in the past, but now he isn't. People shouldn't trust him. His server shouldn't exist. He should be sued by the British courts because of breaking national laws about malicious computer acts.
Might also wanna add that the RunStringEx directory traversal file write method does NOT crash the PC like hex claimed - unless your file stealer sucks really badly. Even though willox made hooking runstring for filestealers a bit more troublesome, it's still possible. I'm a little bit responsible because I had that shity idea few years ago (I didn't use it though). Also note, the bios thing might not necessarly be bullshit if bytecode in any form can be executed - mainly because most bios's are vulnerable to really terrific exploits, especially because most vendors tend to not provide updates for 2 year old motherboards or older. There are quite a few articles which talk about bios and funky smram exploitation, as well as bypassing the signing mechanism etc. if anybody is into that
Brb making some popcorn.
popcorn
brb smoking a cigarette
i think that people with low digit steamID's would be more trusted if hex had a low SteamID he would be trusted (nabe - steamID buyer)
i think that people with low digit steamID's would be more trusted if hex had a low SteamID he would be trusted (nabe - steamID buyer)
what

A steamid length is directly relevant to the amount if time a user has had an account. (Longer = newer, shorter = older, at least in most cases) but it's irrelevant either way.

only thing hac does is rebind your keys (don't know if it does anymore anyways rofl), which you can fix by disabling steam cloud, deleting your garrysmod/garrysmod/cfg dir, and verifying the game cache anybody that believes hac somehow corrupts the fucking bios is dumb
You're just another idiot that doesn't know the full story I don't see as to why he is still hosting the community after talking about shutting it down honestly
yes, i know he loaded binary modules via the plugin_load exploit in the past but as far as i know he didn't do anything *very* malicious he just opened the disk tray and fucked with the steam friends list you can find the source to the module that he loaded here [editline]11th June 2016[/editline]
You're just another idiot that doesn't know the full story I don't see as to why he is still hosting the community after talking about shutting it down honestly
also, i was talking about what hac does to your game if it bans you now, not what it used to do? it doesn't do anything to your game anymore unless you have cvar3 because willox patched the askconnect exploit there's no way it's corrupting the bios because hex doesn't have any new exploits rofl
there's no way it's corrupting the bios because hex doesn't have any new exploits rofl
And you expect people to just believe you when you say he doesn't have a new exploit? You need to prove it. But, since it's impossible to prove that he doesn't have a new exploit, you may as well stop posting that as fact.

If he can screw around with cheaters because they "supposedly" never stop cheating, why not suspect Hex to never stop exploiting? :smug:
If he can screw around with cheaters because they "supposedly" never stop cheating, why not suspect Hex to never stop exploiting? :smug:
I can tell you support my theory
he never found the exploits himself, and who would give him one? 99% of everybody that's heard of him hates him rofl and i've been on his server once on an alt since this retarded drama, saw someone get banned, pretty sure the guy was fine since he joined an rp server and stayed on it for around an hour rofl still, he might only execute an exploit to people on his shit list or something
That doesn't prove anything. People with a conscience dislike him, but are plenty of people who don't care about things like morals. Some of those people are smart enough to find a new exploit, and they would be happy to give him one (for the right price). Trying to prove he doesn't have a new exploit is a losing battle, you should really just stop. The correct answer is that he might have one. You can't say with 100% certainty if he has one or not (unless someone can prove he used one, then you can say he has one)
Hey guys, if we put HeX in a sealed box with a poison vial set to release its payload killing HeX at a random time, how can we know if he is exploiting or not?
I have exploits as bad as [what he had] hex's but I don't get any fame :(
Hey guys, if we put HeX in a sealed box with a poison vial set to release its payload killing HeX at a random time, how can we know if he is exploiting or not?
If hex's server explodes and no one is online to notice, does it make a sound?
