We have already established that we can make backups of files. It's not about that anymore. What it is about now is the fact that he's deleting shit. It's easy to say make backups, but the typical user isn't going to backup his data folder (or any file if you have cvar3) before he joins a server
I feel like the farther I go in this thread, the less I understand what's actually going on.
