Decompiling the map in Hammer didn't work because a lot of information was lost due to how complex the map was. There was a bunch of things that could have only been found with scripts and other code that one could believe is "cheating" if it was applied in a multiplayer setting.
Personally I'm just trying to see your logic, I really didn't care much initially and was just reading the thread until I saw some things you said that my brain begged to be answered. Not sure why you insist on throwing insults and telling me to kill myself when I have not done similar to you, when I'm only trying to see your side of the argument. Doesn't seem fair, now does it?

Basicly it overwrites critical parts of your Windows installation so it can no longer boot, also keep in mind this code is from the time he had an exploit that could make you download binary modules without your consent, meaning that he could fuck up anyone's Windows installation, way to keep cheaters out of your server isn't it?

The point isn't just about if it did or didn't. It's that if HeX would discover an exploit that would fuck up your PC to the point of no return he mostly likely would do it, read my previous post and tell me he isn't just a bored psychopath.

Realistically, probably nothing significant (positively, at least) is going to come of this as usual and HeX will continue to do the things he does.
All measures are to potentially be ignored; and I do agree in one aspect with 0x1, is that the only realistic way to avoid this is just avoid any servers that HeX owns, or uses his anti-cheat like the [I]plague.[/I]

As far as outcomes go, the worst that could happen is that he could somehow start using a very nasty exploit that doesn't need a module, someone reverse engineers it and spreads it like a common cold. Trying to convince him not to write addons like these would be talking to a brick wall, and attacking him via any other means would only cause a larger shitstorm. You really don´t know what it does anyway so why bother.
There is no way to get into System32 without a new exploit anyway so it´s just a fake file im guessing.
And i previously talked to HeX he never will and can fuck up Systemfiles he thinks that´s going to far.
The worst he has ever done was Nukem which deleted all Steam friends and deleted cfg and data.
Even there he felt it was wrong and only like 7 People were infected where 3 of them were testers.

If he created something that deleted your files it means he could use it at any time, given that back then he could send ANY binary module to the client makes it even worse. The file exists in BOTH v13 and v12 so I really doubt he never used it.

I did i asked the Source itself. If we go by the logic that if you code something bad but don´t use it you are bad cake would be as bad. I do not know the whole story but cake made a powerpoint presentation to show what he was capable of and how he could perform it he still has the power to do what he stated in the powerpoint presentation but he hasn´t used it just like hex doesn´t use his destructive dll´s on clients (if he could which he can´t right now)
Facts:
Hex is a good guy, He has banned many cheaters from his server. Even if you don't agree the way they are banned, It is pretty easy to fix the files by deleting the cfg folder and verifying game cache.
Hex does not delete people's system32 folder that is a absolute lie, the worst it does is rebind peoples keys.
You do not get banned for having lua in your folder, You get banned for having lua CHEATS in your folder. There is a difference.
Hex has integrity, He's created a very good addon and other addons have stolen things from him such as the stolen detection methods in cake anticheat and quack anticheat are from hexs coded.
Hex is not a sociopath, He's actually a pretty cool guy who just doesn't want cheaters on his servers. People don't seem to realize that and deliberately cheat on the server just to get banned so they can complain on the forums.
Falco is more of a sociopath than Hex, Hell Falco can't even propkill he's like EU's worst alongside his retard brother crash and their "poki" clan what a joke! Put it on skidcheck as that's what poki are, skids.

You have to understand at the time of this posting, Hex's server was under serious attack from cheaters and ddosers, It's understandable and justified what he did.
