Do you have any proof that people who didn't load cheats used them? Back when i played gmod more i had a few binary modules because i liked to fuck around on development servers, guess what, a few of them could be used for cheating but weren't. Does it mean i deserve to get autobanned when i join a server just to have some fun without cheating at all?

Well the only reason its 4 pages long is because of repeating repeating and repeating nobody has a valid point for pro or contra its currently in the middle
The OP has posted a picture of a corrupt bios to scare technically illiterate people into thinking that they can break their PC, It's very very rare for viruses to even touch the bios as there are technical limitations to this. The virus would have to know the specific type of BIOS for that PC, the last time something like this happened was back in 1998 with the CIH worm and that only affected certain motherboards. Windows and later motherboards have protection against this sort of thing from ever happening again, so I doubt a gmod anticheat has created a piece of malware that is able to destroy peoples BIOS chips indiscriminately.

While HeX's anticheat is doing something it shouldn't i have to agree with this. Even if somehow he would overwrite his BIOS all modern motherboards have a backup that just fixes that, just so there is no second CIH incident.

i mean i don't have explicit proof of any of this but is it so hard to come to the assumption that the person who has in the past withheld from reporting an rce vuln to the gmod devs in the name of protecting their dying server from cheaters that may or may not even have cheats even loaded in the first place?
hex sorta has a hateboner for cheaters, this sort of thing wouldn't exactly be unexpected coming from him.
consider the following: if hac is gonna take a zero tolerance stance on cheats not being actively used at the time of detection, hac should follow its own rules and not include files that could potentially wreck someone's machine, even if they're not actually used in the end. it's hypocritical and dangerous.

He banned me for having a VAC ban on my account. It's from MW2 and I did not own the account at the time it was earned. Although I was able to appeal, it was a ridiculous reason in the first place.
He also bans people who are just members of a shady Steam group, which is just overkill in my opinion since some people will just randomly join groups they're invited to.
Although I have never joined the server and probably never will since I don't really play anymore, banning someone for having certain modules is just ridiculous. I have many modules installed on my client for testing purposes with new GMod updates -- CVar 3 included. I have never hacked nor cheated, and I use the aforementioned modules for the legitimate uses they were created for, but I would be on his ban list, anyway.
Also, Willox and Falco are both banned iirc and I don't see any reason beyond some form of symbolism.
Unfortunately all you three anklebiters have done is argue over commonly known facts (we know hex is a fuckboy, get over it), and try to defend this potential new and potentially very serious fuckery of his with heresay when you are clearly biased in his favor.
I'm sure we could have at least started to get to the bottom of this if we hadn't had to constantly try to explain these simple things to you.

1. If you have a vac ban he will ask you which game it is from and if you answer he will only put a targetting system on you no bans whatsoever
2. As i said for the 20th time he blacklists groups that main targets are cheating and trolling if you didn't know thats a bad group you can ask hex to unban you or even say it ingame
3. Banning for C++ Modules which are only used for cheating is ridiculous? Cvar is a cheat module you can't possibly test anything except cheats with it it forces cvars and stuff which is only used for cheating. Everything cvar does you can do in singleplayer cvar just forces it in multiplayer making it an unfair advantage thus being used for cheating. You cant use cvar3 to test something and if you do just go on singleplayer and type sv_allowcslua 1 and sv_cheats 1 voila no need for cvar3.

Hex has a really bad reputation atleast from cheaters most people enjoy his server when they can play on it.
Unfortunately i cant bring hex as he said he doesnt want to get involved in this and get even more hate then he has now.
If you think hac has a false positive write it on his steam profile he usually removes bans if they were falsely accused.
Sadly there are mostly no false positives its just cheaters triggering some kind of one liner that gets them banned.

2. The "shoot first, ask questions later" mentality is objectively bad and groups should NOT be the reason you are banned. They are completely unrelated to his server.
3. cvar3 was a legitimate module created by BlackAwps to modify cvar data. He never had any intent of it being used for cheating. Here's just a few excerpts from his codebase that use this module in helpful ways.

Im just bored at this moment it just keeps repeating at this point after this post no more replies from me im out this is just an infinite loop of no he is bad/ no he is good
1. Thats pretty odd he usually does idk what happened
2. I don't wanna repeat myself -> He ONLY blacklists groups that target cheating or trolling if you were in that group accidentally write on his profile and leave the group all fine.
3. It may have BEEN its now so abused hex has no other chance but to blacklist it
Falco is a cheater (or atleast propkiller for sure) there is no denying it he has many contacts to cheaters and forces lua to propkill if you don't believe me dont. He doesnt use sv lua for non cheating purpouses he mainly uses it to propkill.
