Seeing as it's starting/has started at like 3 in the morning and ended before I even got up, I may not be able to attend tomorrow if it's following the same timeframe... is there any way I can participate at a reasonable time? (I'm in eastern standard time)
I am starting a petition to have the event changed to a different, more reasonable time for everyone not in GMT timezones, for us Americans/Canadians the event begins from 12:00pm and 3:00am and honestly not many of us will be able to participate. And for the people on the other side of the time it begins right at the time many of them have left for work. So reply to this message if you want to have the event moved to a more reasonable time so that everyone that signed up can participate.
Honestly, I joined the server to see how my game runs there, and it is unplayable. I got huge input lag and makes driving an automatic(!) vehicle a pain in the arse.
Yes, I am very sorry about the server location, but tomezones I cannot help. I the host, am in 1 timezone, europeans are in another, then americans are in another, and we are all offset. It is very hard to find a time where we can all play and partake.
With the server, there was some miscommunication errors (noones fault) and we couldn't get the European server up, and all I had was my Australian server. So it was bear the lag, or no event.
I hope you do understand, hosting a global event is a pain in the arse
