The solution is so frikkin simple.
Just don't play DarkRP, ever. Problem with shitty servers bloated with thousands of addons solved. Oh, and same goes for pretty much every TTT server on a sidenote.

Only the top 3 and any server that has "MINECRAFT 24/7" in its name.
there is 1 in 100 servers that arnt bloated trash

Typically, no server with over 80 players will have bloat to it.

FUCK OFF SHILL
This mrweegeeman guy is really something special.

How about you don't advertise SUP. That's the shittiest community out there. They fake their player count to get better ranks, clickbait, malicious code in workshop addons to redirect players to their pile of shit, and finally their community slipping past FPs rules in advertising their shitty fucking server on here. Fuck off you knob
You could try enabling the new multicore rendering options. They work pretty well.

it works well but as kevlon says it still takes alot of resources to call something that doesnt exist
there should be a thing in gmod to replace errors with certain things
like
missing playermodel = kliener
missing gun model = hl2 pistol
missing veichle is airboat or something
i dunno but could work because i hate seeing giant errors blinding me and i dont feel like downloading gbs of content

It's wonky sometimes with collisions. When I used it in GMod 12 I remember it causing a lot of crashes.

still rather have a few hiccups than run in 20 fps

Since when do error models make your FPS drop? If anything, that makes your FPS drop more because I'm sure they're rendered by collideable mesh.

Or you could try playing on a decent server [sp]Like SUP[/sp]
Well, SUP, ok. How do they run tons of addons, have lots of players and during big events they won't lag? I don't suppose it's only their good hardware, must be some sort of optimization?

Because nearly everything we have down to the gamemode is custom coded.

correct me if im wrong, but custom code != good optimisation
correct me if im wrong, but custom code != good optimisation
You would be correct. I was inferring that it is also optimized since it was coded with optimization in mind.
