Still, the problem is that I was merely [B]joking[/B], and you got quite jumpy about it. I was refering to the Machineguns getting nerfed when they have very little use anyways. Its just plain stupid to think they won't just slap more machineguns on their shit to compensate for the nerf. Good update, Kyle did a really nice job on the RAC models.
Also the buff that came with racs and ALs seems pretty good, increases the pick rate for them as well making them a lot more useful.
Why worry about MG spam? Weren't they made originally to put a lot of lead down range to supress advancing [B]infantry[/B]. What im saying is they are fine to spam with infantry. Armored tanks that are imune to it however, your just lagging the server and being annoying shooting everyone's wheels off. Tanks only really should use them for range finding and killing infantry, shooting down planes, or damaging light armored vehicles.

Loving things so far post-update, mortar smoke is fantastic. Did have to re-build my range tables, since it tweaked the ballistics of low-velocity shells, it seems. Also is a bit odd how shells of the same muzzle velocity for the same gun don't seem to have the same flightpaths - 102.7m/s 150mm HE flies longer than similar-speed SM shells from the same angle. This an intended behavior? Something doing with differing shell masses, I assume?

No need to point out people put more atakas on their stuff, they already did even before the update lol.
Ballistic drag was increased, so that's why you'll need to rebuild tables. The difference between HE and SM trajectory is likely due to the different mass of the filler types.

I'm aware of issues with tracer effect and fuel amount, will be fixed in next patch (busy for next couple days, so may not be able to update until weekend).
Uhh don't know if this was because of the magical code merge between GGG and the main repositories or whatever when acf was updated (on ggg) but standalone clutches wont update with new settings (only clutches, other gearboxes seem to work fine) and fuel tanks apparently got a ~75% fuel capacity reduction (was wondering why I was running out of fuel 2 minutes into my flight).
Like, the 20 gallon fuel drum now only holds 6.

Ok so a few other people who main other servers have told me fuel is royally fucked up for them as well. They're reporting about 60% reduction in capacity which falls roughly in line with what I've seen as well.

I got to test the pod-firerate bonus on GGG, i hope to see it implemented in main fork, with maybe some balance change

As far as I've tested, definitely needs a bit of a nerf to how much it does seeing as with 1 driver + 3 extra seats you get near x2 rof (600rpm MG becomes instant MG42). Also, currently doesn't have a downside yet.

Pods take up space. You're sacrificing space for the small buff. An active check wouldn't be consistent enough considering it's spidering off of something that's using a constraint check on certain things occurring instead of linking the gun itself to the seats.
Number of people that participate or want to ride along in clown car death traps is pretty low. Limiting the buff to only active pods basically makes it like there'd never be a buff at all, except for the vain few who would be standing around casually yelling out "need 3 more people to sit in the clown car" until their voices went hoarse.
