Excellent, i always wanted that back, now i don't have to plow through workshop to find Quality addons, Good job Adam !
What's the policy on poorly coded imported addons?
I don't think people should edit scripts, nor should they be hidden/deleted. Obviously if something is broken (like by the G12 -> G13 transition) then it could be flagged as broken, but when you start defining "poorly coded", you have to draw lines in the sand somewhere. So who draws them?
I'll get the search thing fixed, the downloads per page thing, and 'broken addon' flagging done today.
[editline]2nd April 2015[/editline]
All fixed/done.

Instead of a yes/no is this file known to be broken, why not have a yes/no/unknown is it broken

Also searching through reports/going to the second page of untagged search results will return in a "Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

i'm sure what matters more is how broken the addon is, compared to whats broken. if its got outdating coding to the point where it spams the console for days, or is missing materials/models i'd say that's warranted for a report.

If you have checked an addon if it's broken, you can select yes/no, it defaults to unknown. If you just have a yes/no known broken then you can't tell if anyone else has already checked it.
It would be nice for organizers to be able to quickly flag something for deletion rather than having to go and report it.
Why does it show exactly which users has downloaded a file?
I don't like having my name on shitty model packs that i want to inspect for goodies...
We need to know who downloads the sex dupes
Why are people reporting backgrounds? Sure they may not be very high quality, but who are you to judge what content is on the site? Leave that up to the moderators / adam.

Is that not exactly what the report function is for?

They're just spam, they doesn't have any kind of effort on it.
(That's the why they were forbidden in the old garrysmod.org)
Go to google images, search a 'cool' image then open vtfedit and in 2 seconds you have a background image.
Shining examples:
Background stuff
Litterly as soon as I read this this was imported from the old site:

Also do these backgrounds even work with GMod 13's new Background system?
Wow, guess I don't need to worry about sorting that addon repository I had on my disk. Fantastic that you have all the old stuff back now!
Curious though, how would I go about claiming the few addons I had uploaded years ago and linking them to the new profile? Do you have a system set up for this like flagging, or do I just submit some kind of form?

Use the report form with the claim reason :)
For some reason my iJihad was removed.

I've put it back, I think I may have accidentally disabled it when I did a mass remove of some stuff.

I've tried visiting the site in Firefox (which is what you're using?) and it seems to work fine. Are you having problems visiting any other https websites?
Oh lord it's going to be fun going through the reuploads to see what all is mine.

With the current Gmod iirc, if you have a .jpg, you can literally just drop it in garrysmod/garrysmod/backgrounds and it'll work.
Are there any news on the .gma upload thing, yet?
Hey guys I did a thing
