If no one has stated. There is no zero on the keypad!
This needs the original half life sound "Access Denied" or "Access Approved (i think that's what he said)"
Wow this is exactly what my server needed, thanks for the awesome stool.
For Wiremod, you could just make a few inputs, and walla! It works.
Love the STOOL, by the way.
The proper spelling is voila.
I totally think you should have KeyCrackers , or a device that you shove near a keypad , ant it will do... hmmm , atleast 9999 Different codes
Basically +1 , then +01 , then +001 , then +0001 , And it will use it ingame , not finding out its code. Wait , is that possible? I dunno , I cannot use Lua , I do not know it!
It would probably be counter-intuitive to a security themed STool to enable others to run a script and go make a sandwich while deviously plotting how to destroy the inside of someone's fort once they get in. :)
If no one has stated. There is no zero on the keypad!
That's true...it should :v:
That's true...it should :v:
It didn't fit! :v:
Extremely useful! LUA KINGED!
Totally awesome, i`m soo going to use this for my special admin base :v:
Awesome!
I was thinking about something like this just lastnight.
Got my download.
You can't. Because the password is stored server side. ;)
Heh, since it's only numeric codes a bruteforcer should take care of it :P
Heh, since it's only numeric codes a bruteforcer should take care of it :P
Yep, but you can't use codes while it says "Access denied" or "Access granted". So it will take a hell load of time.
Good news everybody!
(Futurama )
The Wire version is almost done and is currently in beta testing!

yeah just noticed the adjustable delays :(
It didn't fit! :v:
hmmm maybe making the Abort and Ok buttons smaller and put the 0 between them ? =D
This will go good with fort wars woot.
Lua king for you my good sir!
When you get the code right there should be a sound and when you get it wrong, an alarm goes off!
When you get the code right there should be a sound and when you get it wrong, an alarm goes off!
There is sounds for the next version. And that alarm part can you do yourself with the Wire version :)

By the way...when are you going to fix Autosnap ? :$

Yes, i'm from Sweden... And?
Another great release from Robbis! I love this STOOL! I see so many uses for this STOOL that I have not even tried yet! This is a excellent idea/release Robbis! Keep up the good work!
Don't work, I enter the code, nothing.
I look in the console:
[lua]
LC: entities/sent_keypad/cl_init.lua:100: attempt to index local 'Ply' (a userdata value)
LC: entities/sent_keypad/cl_init.lua:100: attempt to index local 'Ply' (a userdata value)
LC: entities/sent_keypad/cl_init.lua:100: attempt to index local 'Ply' (a userdata value)

LC: entities/sent_keypad/cl_init.lua:100: attempt to index local 'Ply' (a userdata value)
LC: entities/sent_keypad/cl_init.lua:100: attempt to index local 'Ply' (a userdata value)
[/lua]
And it says all the time "Access granted", and I've not pressed ANYTHING.
Please help, I want this good stool to work!! :crying:
(I can't use the undo button (Z for me) to get rid of it ether)

Sounds like an interesting idea. Brings a new meaning to "hacking", it's not just cheats anymore!
Anyways, awesome work.
Heads up! New version released!
This version features a Wire STool, that can be found under the Wire menu! You need of course the Wire Addon too.
It also have some FPS tweaks so it will be more FPS friendly.
This will be awesome for fort entrances, and if they get the code wrong, dynamite will explode...
one question before i download, can you set how many numbers need to be inputed, like does it have to be 4, or can i make it just 1?
Lua King for you

The code can be up to 4 digits, but at least one. I remember making a door with a three button code, and noone managed to guess it.
Also, instead of just having dynamite explode, why not do something more creative, like say, dump them into a little noclip-proof room so you can deal with them later? The advanced options unlock a whole world of possibilities, and even moreso now that it's wire-compatible.
When you're on a server with prop protection, and you're not a moderator, it says the prop isn't owned by you. Can you fix this?
Yeah this is really making lots of progress good job with production as well.
Awesome STOOL Robbis_1...
BUT, i have a problem with the wire one, all i can see of it is the shadow..
any solution ? the other keypads works great
Wow, what a kick ass job dude. Lua king for sure.
